Lorne opens the doors to Caritas and checks in on Veronica who is busily working on the inventory system for Caritas.

Lorne takes his position behind the bar and mixes himself a sea breeze as he waits for customer's to arrive.

[ETA: AFK until around 10:00 PM EST. Have Tino serve you until I return.]

The Zombie band begins to play "The Final Countdown".

GOB took the stage and performed his standard entrance magnificently. It could be considered perhaps the greatest entrance ever witnessed by anybody who saw it. The cards, the handkerchiefs, the tossing of the knife... all of it. Simply amazing. And then he realized that nobody was in the audience.

"Hey, Tino! Either get up here and have your body separated and rearranged, or get me a double."

"Need a volunteer or an audience, my good man?"

"No, thanks, Lorne. ~~I still don't have anything, really, plus I forgot that nobody does stuff on plotty nights. Whoops!~~" GOB started to walk towards the bar (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/597764.html?thread=23404548#t23404548). "At this point, I'm here for the booze."

Lorne or Tino are at your service...

Artie strode in triumphantly . . . well after GOB's magnificent entrance. No one had laid eyes on him since he fled All and Sundries on Sunday, but by the looks of things, he'd been a bit busy. His red and blue outfit had a lovely, silver glitter sheen to it, as did the clogs he wore and his Tibetan hat. He placed both hands on his hips and stuck out his chest.

"I have arrived."

"Indeed you have my friend," Lorne said with an amused tone as he pours him a glass of milk (with an umbrella of course).

"How goes your campaign against ne'er-do-wells?"

"Never ending, Greenman, never ending." Artie takes a long sip of his milk. "Your establishment remains safe under my watchful eye!"

"Good to know!" Lorne said with a grin. "I had a feeling you'd fit in well here."

"Yes!" Artie struck a magnificent pose. "Thank you!"

GOB took his drink from Tino. "And now I make this Scotch disappear."

"An excellent trick!" Artie leans in, though not quite too close, to watch.

GOB glanced at Artie briefly, then looked back at his glass. "Tino, keep them coming, for the love of God."

Hethen turned back to Artie. "How are you tonight, neighbor?"

"I'm just dandy! And you, neighbor?"

GOB finished his drink quickly and tried willing Tino to refill it faster. "Not bad, Artie. Could be a little better, but overall, not bad."

Artie nods, apparently content to simply make conversation. "Very odd, those snow demons,"

GOB took a sip as soon as Tino passed over a new drink. "Yeah, I stayed inside and safe from the snowmen that day. Seemed like a good idea. Still does." And another sip.

"A wise choice for one as comparitively frail as you, dear neighbor. A wise choice, indeed." Artie sips his milk. "They were wiley ones, with noses like tasty carrots and minds like evil masters!"

GOB wanted to complain about the "frail" comment, but the rest of it just killed his desire to do anything but down his drink and demand another one from Tino. So he did just that.

Artie posed. 'Cause, you know, that's what Artie does.

GOB needed to get away from this pothead for a bit, so he walked up to the stage (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/597764.html?thread=23436292#t23436292).

Artie continues posing. He appears not to have noticed.

The Zombie band is ready for your request

GOB stepped up to the stage to get awayfrom Artie for a couple minutes. He cued the band to start ~~the meta~~ playing some Styx.

Lorne sat the bar and had another drink waiting for GOB when he returned.

"Thanks, Lorne," GOB said, sitting a little farther from the posing weirdo. "Tonight seems like a good night for weirdness."

"It's always a good night for weirdness," Lorne says for a grin. "Especially for those who might be missing the company of a certain someone lacking tint."

GOB looked confused as he sipped his drinked. This confusion made him choke slightly. "What does Becky have to do with anything?"

"Only that you miss her more than you think you do," Lorne says with a small grin. "Not that I'm trying to fix you two crazy kids up on a date or anything."

GOB gave Lorne a look. It was a look that he generally reserved for people he thought were high. "A date? Us? She'd be waving around a knife before we ordered the food."

"I didn't say she felt the same way about you necessarily."

GOB took a slow drink of his Scotch. "No, you didn't." He finished his drink and left his money and a good tip on the bar. "Thanks for the drinks," he said, getting up to leave.
