Trick or Treat - All Day

Today was Halloween and Fandom Town wanted to contribute to the Holiday. Someone at Town Hall had apparently overdone himself and spread flyers around town with the Trick or Treat route on it. He did have to put them safely on window sills or benches to avoid the small growling vampire pumpkins from trying to roll over them.

After sunset, the route would be lit by torches and if you ran into a troopers, chances were they had swapped their helmet for a scary mask. They were staying clear of the Sheriff just in case, though.

((ZOMG, gimme time for the OCD. OCD is up. Wait to comment in threads until the owners have tagged into it. If anyone would prefer to make their own Trick or Treat post and just tag in here with a link for people to follow, that is perfectly fine as well.

Have fun and please let me know if I forgot something or if you have questions.

ETA: Now there's even a thread to gather at the school gates. *facepalms*))

"Hi Mr. Lyman," Willow said. "Trick or treat?"

"Hi, Willow," Josh replied politely, clicking away from his Congressional betting website.

He reached towards the candy bowl. "Any nut allergies?"

"Does not liking hanging around Seely count?" Willow replied with a grin.

Josh chuckled. "Unless one of my housemates has done something very, very gross with the candy, nope," he said, tossing a handful of mini-Snickers into Willow's bag.

"Decent haul tonight?" he asked.

"Not bad," Willow said. "People have been very generous with their candy-giving. There've been good costumes too. Though yours is pretty clever."

Josh raised an eyebrow. "Who do you think I'm supposed to be?"

"I figured you went for the scariest thing you could think of and dressed as a Republican."

Josh laughed. "Exactly." He pursed up his lips. "Blah blah flag burning blah blah God loves only me and not you blah blah stay the course blah." He grinned. "How'd I do?"

Willow made a show of shuddering. "Creepily lifelike."

"For that you get extra candy," Josh said, tossing more into her bag. "Have a good night!"

"You too!" Willow said, and went off with a wave.
