Coming into work today, Cal was feeling a bit blue.

Literally.

No matter how hard he tried to scrub off the cerulean tint to his skin after being pelted by a few rocks on the way here, it wouldn't go anywhere. So he just gave up after a while and tried to figure out how he could try to explain away this one in his next article.

Worf entered Luke's in a grumpy mood... And in a bright shade of pink.

"There are times on this island that I find it rather irksome," he growled as he took a seat.

"I don't know," Cal muttered, "that shade really brings out your eyebrows, Worf."

He gave a blue sigh and shook his head. "Prune juice?"

Worf gave Cal a Look and decided to let it go. "Yes. Prune Juice. And pie. Are you well?"

Cal waved a dismissive hand. "No," he said, without a beat, "just feeling a little blue. What kind of pie you want? I'll give you a deal on blueberry."

If Worf had any appreciation for the joke he did not show it. "What kind of deal?" he asked.

Coyote decided that the best part about being the boss was getting other people to do your work for you. He would have to work on getting more employees.

He wandered into the diner, somehow miraculously free of colored skin from the storm. He tilted his head and eyed Cal. "You're very blue."

"Actually," Cal said, holding out his colored hand, "I think it's more of a cerulean."

Coyote didn't know what that was, so he decided Cal was probably right.

"That's very true. It's a good trick, how do you do it?"

"I didn't," Cal said; he dropped his hand and nodded toward the window. "One of those rocks did it. First one that hit me was yellow, but, before I got here, a couple blue got me, and so here I am."

Why hadn't he thought of that?

"You should tell people it's your secret talent. Then they'll think you have very powerful medicine."

Cal's head tilted. "Why would I want to do that? Then everyone'd be bugging me for things."

Biff walked in, covered almost completely in blue.

He looked good blue.

"This was a lot more fun when I'd gotten painting by Chinese concubines," he told Cal as he sat down.

"Oh, God," Cal's expression made the quick plummet into depression that his brain had just made quite clear. "We just got so gypped."

There was comfort, at least, in knowing he wasn't the only idiot running around in blue.
