Atlas Gym, Thursday Evening
Sarah shut down the comics shop promptly at 6, and went to the gym to get in a treadmill run and some yoga before she expected Loki.
It occurred to her that she might be in over her head, what with the whole ... Loki thing. She'd sparred bigger guys before, and won, but nobody with wings. Nobody who couldn't die.
Learning experience. Like everything else. And she would never step away from a challenge.
[OOC: Open gym, but she's here for one.]

"This fucking week, I swear," he said in greeting.

Okay, maybe that was an embellishment.
"Which makes this little get together very timely."

"I don't think I want to see you snap," she finally decided. "Sorry you're stressed out. I'm just still glad last week is over."

She ... wouldn't actually. She wasn't religious, but she was still pretty sure that if you broke an angel's wings, you went to hell.

"Thanks for the heads up," she said, more serious. "And I'm, y'know, normal human. No particular places not to hit me, but I can take a blow."
Meaning, she would also rather not be broken.

She moved over to the mats and shifted into a defensive stance. "Whenever you're ready."

Breathing harder, she released his wrist with a little shove and took a quick step back to a defensive stance again.

She sent a hard left hook crashing toward his upper arm.

All right, not if they hadn't done anything wrong.
She was breathing heavy as she brought her calf around and into his chest. Not a hard blow, nothing that would crush a rib (if he even had ribs) but enough to get him to get down and stay down.

"Chriiiiiiiist." It would take a little longer for her to be coherent.

"No," Sarah said, hand patting at her jawline to suss out the sensitive spots. "I heal too, anyhow."
Less fast, but he knew that.
