Support Services First Aid Station at Caritas: Saturday Daytime

Don't ask why Francine's hair was still wet when she got there. Just.... don't.

Just come on in if you need a safe place to get away from the gremlins (or the pie rain if you got caught in any late-breaking showers), minor patching up, a re-fuel before you head out into the mess again, or someone to slap you upside the head and tell you to get yourself to the damn clinic already. (And possibly escort you there.)

[OOC: Open! OCD up! Support people are welcome to join in the band-aiding and food-handing-out too - or anyone else who feels like volunteering. Also, your regularly scheduled Caritas drinking and schmoozing post will be up in the evening as usual. This one's separate.]

Not when she could stay right here and eat snacks and drink. Mmm, beer.

"At least not if I don't know for a fact that it's safe in the dorms."

"That's my big concern," Warren admitted. "There's not going to be much rest happening in the dorms if there are scaly things with claws skittering around in the shadows."

He shrugged, and then took a mouthful of his drink. Raspberry? Huh. Not bad.

"Though I'd kill for a shower right about now." There was blood drying into his feathers, which looked very much like they'd been chewed on by gremlins, yes. That was going to be horrible to try to clean out, later.

Kate glanced at what she could see of his wings. Yeah, not pretty. "How do you even-- ? Nevermind." She could try to figure out showering and feathers sometime later.

She looked around the bar. "I wonder if napping would be possible here."

Showering wasn't so bad with feathers, actually. They had a tendency to kind of cling to themselves when they were wet, and he looked more or less like a soggy parakeet until he dried off, but a little water never hurt anything.

It was sort of like a birdbath for people, that way.

"I can't see why it wouldn't be. There are places to sit, after all. We could probably grab a booth and just crash in there." A pause. "I really can't see Francine throwing us out."

"That'd be very unsisterly of her," Kate agreed. "Guess we really lucked out on the whole fake big sister thing, huh?" There was a faint grin, and she pushed a few strands of hair behind her ear.

"I'm seriously gonna need a nap. Once the adrenaline wears off."

He ran a hand through his own hair, nodding his agreement. He was generally fairly agreeable. The raspberry vodka drink was helping that along nicely.

"Today is a much better day for napping than it's been for coffee. The beer will probably help that along, too."

Thank heaven for alcohol?

"Want me to try to find something you can use for a pillow?"

"That would be awesome, yes. Although I'm pretty sure I could manage without one, too."

She had a feeling she was going to crash epicly once it was naptime. She wasn't built for days like this. It wasn't the kind of drama she was used to.

She sipped on her beer. "You can trade in your caffeine angel credentials for being a makeshift pillow angel."

He did! He was warm and cozy and very likely to pass out, too. It worked nicely that way.
