Well, Jane had been busy back home for a little bit there, but was raring to go at the bar again.

Much to Tino's obvious dismay.

"Why would I have quit?" Jane asked, frowning at where Tino was sullenly wiping down part of the bar top away from her. "And it was a vacation week in there too, you know."

Not that she'd gone, but. Still.

Ignoring him, she straightened the sign directing people to where the Purim party was in the back room instead.

"Haven't seen you in a while," Rey said as she took a seat.

How long could she say she hadn't been social lately?

"Rey!" Yes, it had been, hadn't it? "You know things get sometimes."

"I know. Very well," she agreed. "How have you been?"

"I've been good," Jane said, taking a deep breath. "I like working here. It let's me be social."

"I bet," Rey said. "Do you get regulars yet?"

"Well, Stark and Anakin have stopped in pretty frequently," Jane replied. "So a solid maybe there."

"I'd say it counts," Rey decided. "And hopefully things like parties help with tips."

"Also free food," Jane said with all the knowledge of someone who worked in academia before this.

"Well, mostly the party provides that," Jane admitted. "Or if Raiden stops by."

"Because he's the best," Rey nodded.

"Right?" Jane said, glad everyone saw it.

"He's the nicest person and he gets me to try new things. I love it." Rey was so easy.

"You've been trying his specials then?" Because they alternated between delicious and concerning.

"Not all the time, but every few weeks or so," Rey said. "I've liked everything so far."

It should also be noted that Rey disliked like, three foods or drinks total.

"Pizza does tend to be good even if it's not the best," Jane agreed. "Also, he's too sweet to not at least try things."

"And he's so enthusiastic. If he says something's good then of course I'll trust it," she said. "Do you get them a lot?"

"More than I try Summer's specials," Jane whispered in case Summer could hear her.
