After a rather unexpected awakening, Dean and the two Rugrats/Alarm clocks came into the kitchen. Dean started work on making pancakes, sausage and bacon. And after a moment of thought started making vegan bacon and pancake batter as well.

Look if it was happening to him, it was happening elsewhere. Might as well cook for everyone.

He flipped on his phone and the bluetooth speaker and started playing his music and hopefully keep the mood light.

[Open for housemates, vistors or any other little ones.]

Arden waved to Evie and the bunny both. "Hi," she said. "I know you're Evie, but I don't think I've been introduced to your friend."

"This is Tawa," Evie said, holding the bunny up. "She thinks you're pretty."

"Well hello, Tawa," Arden said with a smile. "I think you look very soft and cuddly."

She touched her curls and smiled at Evie. "I like that your hair's like mine. Do your dads know how to style it right?"

"Aunt Layla helps," Evie said. Not that Aunt Layla's hair was exactly like Evie's, but Layla had far more experience with the needs of curly hair and the hair styling hopes of a young girl in particular than any of the men in the household, and had made sure everyone in the home knew what to ask for and do when it came to Evie's hair in particular. "Aunt Layla is family."

Family was an Important Word.

"Well, I don't think Aunt Layla is here this week," she said. "So if you want someone to help with your hair this weekend, you know I got you. And if you don't have a bonnet to sleep in, I've got an extra one."

"Thank you!" Evie said. She and Francis had been able to plan a bit better for the Holiday this time but Arden was older and kind and pretty and therefore possibly a princess so Evie was not going to turn this opportunity down.

Evie held her rabbit up to her ear then said, "Tawa says you can have some lettuce if you want."

This was an incredible honor, Arden. Tawa liked lettuce.

Funny story that...

"Well, I had a big breakfast, so I will only take a little bit of lettuce if that's okay," Arden said, since eating raw lettuce by itself sounded very unappetizing. "But I appreciate Tawa sharing with me. That's very kind of her."

Evie nodded solemnly as she handed a piece of lettuce over. "It's good to Share."

Share was one of those Important Words.

"Everybody should Share," Evie said, to show Arden she, too, had this kind of wisdom. "Sharing is good. Then everybody can have some and nobody has to be sad and have none."

Samantha snorted from behind her cereal.

"Sharing is very important," Arden agreed taking the lettuce and popping it into her mouth because you don't spurn gifts that way. "And I like how Tawa and I are sharing. She likes it more and needs breakfast, and I already ate breakfast. So I get a little bit and she gets too keep the rest and we're both happy!"

Something something each according to needs something something each according to their means something something.

"I'm going to have pancakes," Evie told her. She kicked her feet back and forth as she sat, because pancakes were very exciting breakfast food. "And milk from a green cup."

A cup Dad was quickly going back to the private residence to get. Along with a purple one for Francis. They had learned from last time that attempting to mess with what Evie considered the correct cup could be handled, yes, but was also a stress that could be avoided.

"Do you have a cup?" Evie asked. Very important information here, the possession of cups.
