Rey's warehouse- Friday

The warehouse was more humid than hot, which was something? Maybe? Rey knew she could train it it at least, and for as much as she hated the snow simulation she did have it on just in case it worked like an air conditioner.

The woodchucks were milking it, though. One of them was dragging itself across the floor like a cartoon character who was just about to find an oasis.

"Rey?" Anakin called, stepping into the warehouse.

"I have a cold pizza," she announced, frowning as she watched the dramatic woodchuck.

"Cold pizza sounds good today," Anakin admitted. "Rory's been eating nothing but ice cream and bagged salad."

"Both sound good," she admitted. "This is vegetables. It's Raiden's."

"Then it'll be good," Anakin said. "Even the cicada pizza was good, right?"

Anakin was an asshole.

"Cicadas are not good and you should be ashamed," she told him.

Anakin laughed. "But I'm not."

"I know you're not," she said. "Still."

Anakin grinned. "You were a good sport about it."

"I do kind of feel like I need to be a good representative," she said.

"I appreciate it," Anakin said sincerely.

"Unless you make me eat cicadas again," she said.

"I won't reuse the cicadas," Anakin promised.

"Or any other insects," she added.

"I feel like you're limiting my creativity," Anakin teased.

"Unabashedly," she nodded. "It’s called setting boundaries."

"I don't like it," Anakin declared.

Not eating bugs shouldn't be a hill to die on, Anakin.

"I do everything else," she pointed out.

"And I appreciate it. What should we do next week?"

Now it's "we," Rey. Aren't you happy?

"Did you do costumes too recently?" she asked.

"Well, only the tree-climbers had to be in costume on cicada week, so that hardly counts," Anakin decided.

"Something one on one in mascot costumes."

Like rock em sock em robots. With giant heads.

And maybe fans in the giant heads.

"Like combat or like pogo stick races?"

Anakin, what.

"Those bouncy things? That might be risking a clinic visit," she mused.

Can't have that before the disco skating party they don't know about yet!

"True," Anakin mused. "Boxing?"

"Done safely, I think it's a good idea," she said.

"I'll see what costumes I can find," Anakin said with a little grin.
