*Paige stands looking out the window, trying to decided whether she should go back to her dorm, she forgot to call

cookinggeek to tell she'd be away and didn't want her getting worried. On the other hand she really doesn't want to leave

*Geoff notices Paige returning, and wonders what's in the bag. He also reluctantly decides he really ought to reopen the shop, and he heads down to the door to remove the CLOSED sign.*

*Paige passes the bag of muffins to Geoff* I thought would be a good idea, if I'd had more time I could have got my roommate to cook us something, she wants to be a chef apparently.*

*She sits next to Geoff and takes out a muffin and starts picking at it*

*Paige looks thoughtful and slightly worried for a moment* So do you want me to go now?

*gratefully takes a muffin*

Well, your roommate is welcome to cook for us anytime she likes, but don't you think that would have been a bit crowded? *smiles*

*then frowns, noticing Paige's worried expression*

Do you...want to go now?

*Paige laughs slightly* I'm sure she'd have made something for me to bring. I'll ask her for next time *Paige suddenly realises there might not actually be a next time* I'm not really the cooking domesticated type I'm afraid

*Paige takes a deep breath might as well tell the truth she thinks*

Not especially, I'm pretty sure I don't have classes tomorrow. I mean it's up to you really. Do you want me to stay?

*realizes that Paige has probably been neglecting her studies, and feels a bit ashamed*

I don't want to cause you to neglect school. Or your friends, either. *pauses, and then speaks somewhat hesitantly* I think I'd like to meet your friends. If you...want them to meet me. And your sister -- especially if she starts cooking for us. *smiles*

And not being domestic is nothing to be ashamed of. I can't do a lick of cooking myself. *waves vaguely at the apartment, which barely looks like anyone lives in it* And you can see I'm not much for keeping house, either. I don't think I even have so much as a plate. *chuckles* I think the glasses must have been left by the previous tenant.

I wouldn't say I was neglecting it exactly. I'm pretty sure I didn't have any lessons on friday anyway. *Paige smiles* I'll not get kicked out don't worry.

*Paige looks slightly upset* And I don't really have that many friends yet, erevyone's been so busy and well I've spent quite a lot of time in town, oh and Piper's not my sister, I'm an only child, well as far as I know.*Paige is suddenly aware that despite the fcat she's been there for 3 days she's not really told Geoff anything about herself*

*Paige looks around the room* I guess I could help you sort this place if I'm gonna be spending more time here. I have a few spare things back in the dorm I could bring over

*feels somewhat embarrassed over the "sister" goof*

I apologize -- I assumed that when you mentioned your roommate, and that she would cook for you, that you were related. That was very inconsiderate of me.

*follows Paige's glance around the room* You are more than welcome to do whatever you like to this place, Paige. And you would also be very welcome if you decided to spend more time here.

*long pause, during which Geoff thinks over the things she's told him so far*

Paige, what about your boyfriend? The one you commissioned the coat of arms for?

*Paige smiles* It's ok, a couple of people have thought the same thing, I can't really see why though, we don't really look alike.I'll bring some stuff over in the week then, when I'm not in class.

*Paige has thought about

He's, erm, not my boyfriend, more of a friend really. He's helped me with my studies and things, I just wanted to get him a thank you present

*smiles* Maybe we can this place looking habitable.

*Geoff is fairly certain he doesn't believe Paige about

pure_blooddraco but decides to let it go for now*

I took the closed sign off the door downstairs, although I imagine there won't be many people around on a Sunday. So, would you like to go out somewhere?

*Paige smiles* I'm sure I'll be able to do something with it.

I guess we could go to the pub, I've kinda had enough of wine for a while. Is that ok with you?

The pub sounds like an excellent idea. *mischievous grin* I'm told they sometimes have poetry readings there, too.

*Paige hits herself on the head* I knew I'd forgotten to tell you something! The coffee shop's definitely having poetry readings at the weekends
*Paige grins* It doesn't really seem fair to the others having someone as talented as you reading, but I'm sure they'll get over it
