Sam stretched up on her tiptoes and peered through the window at the merchandise. "I think this is the place we're looking for, Janet. You ready?"

"Yep," said Janet, not even bothering to try and see in the windows if Sam was having to reach for even a glimpse. "Are they even open, though?"

Sam looked again. She didn't see anyone who looked like they were running the place. "I'm not sure." She glanced around the square. "Do you see anyone else who looks like they could open the door? I mean, I could always pick the lock, but I'm not sure what kind of alarm system they've got."

*chooses exactly that moment to flip the sign over and unlock the door*

Janet scuffed her heel in the ground and looked up as the door opened. "Thanks," she said as she walked in and looked at the store. "Do you have, um, edible body paint? In different colors?"

Sam walks over the threshold, unable to keep herself from gawking like a tourist. "Yeah, we're looking for edible body paints. Do you have different flavors?"

*leads her over to the various edibles section with underwear for both genders, fruit-flavored paints, chocolate paints, and even gummi handcuffs*

We've got a rainbow of colors. And they're all quite good, actually.

"Mine? Um...no, they're not for me...I'm just here with her," she said, gesturing towards Janet. She thinks. "Do you have coffee flavored?"

Sam turns to Janet with an evil glint in her eye. "Ten bucks if you can get Daniel into edible underwear."

*thinks* Coffee... We have mocha in with the chocolate paints, if that's close enough?

Janet's answering grin was equally as evil. "Okay," she said. "You're on."

"Mocha?" Janet snickers. "I don't know what he'd enjoy more, me or the paints."

Sam laughs. "At least you'd know he wouldn't be allergic to it."

She turns to the really cute salesperson, and asks, "Is there one that's better for writing on people?"

"Orally fixated? Try coffee addicted, and you'd probably be closer."

Most of them make pretty good fingerpaint. But if you're going for intricate, a few of the giftsets have brushes included.

"I haven't the faintest idea," Janet says, studying the fruit-flavored paints. "I'm finding out tonight."

Sam turns to Janet and peers over her shoulder at the strawberry paint. "Up to you, Janet--fingerpaint or brushes?"

Janet taps her fingers on the counter as she tries to decide. "Fingerpaint," she said. "Probably more selection, and more fun too. Now all we need are some colors to add to the mocha paint."

Sam picks up two different red containers. "Cherry or raspberry? You could do the chocolate-covered cherry thing and send him into a sugar coma."

*takes the mocha paint down and puts it on the counter for her*

Most of them are the fruit you'd expect they'd be. White is pina colada. Black is black cherry. The red is strawberry.

Sam ponders the choices, deciding to buy some for herself as long as they're in there. "Ooo. Pina colada. I'll take one of those and one of the chocolate."
