Red is Open and In Today

With coffee and a day old bagel, Red sat at the counter enjoying his breakfast and reading his newspaper. The sign said OPEN and he was enjoying the early morning before his 10:30 appointment.

The cubs could be heard racing up and down the stairs. Castor had apparently discovered the game of 'drop the Kong from the top of the stairs and chase it to the bottom' to which both cubs currently engaged in.

A quiet day in Fandom Town...

Putting his mouthstick down from marking prices, he grinned and nodded his head. "Inara, how are you today?"

Quite good. How are you? I heard they had a party for you on the weekend, and I'm sorry I couldn't attend. A client hired me for two days work.

"They did and it was quite the to-do. They literally painted the town red," he chuffled softly. "And I'm glad you had work to keep you busy. I take it, it went well for you?"

They paid. *smile* That's always good. And the time away from town was...relaxing. Things tend to get a little frenetic around here.

So, other than painting the town red, what other things did they do for you - or to you?

"Luckily? Nothing. Just food and talking with friends. Very low key and very nice. I think we were able to salvage most of the red bows."

Red laughed. "No, thankfully. Otherwise I'd be picking up shreds of ribbon for days. They were tied up high enough the cubs couldn't get to them."
