Rodney's listening to the radio, relieved that they've stopped playing that 'Eternal Flame' song by the Bangles. Or songs by students. He spent over a year in Atlantis and knows only too well the pain of listening to other people singing when they don't know they're out of tune. Or when they don't care that they out of tune.

Holly is fixed and facing the wall. Rodney got tired of listening to him criticise his work. IQ of 6000, whatever. The thing nags worse than Zelenka and is more annoying than Kavanaugh.
