Fandom Town Police Station
Were one to walk into the police station, he or she would find the atmosphere quite tense, a thin string thrumming with focused energy. It would be a natural progression for it to snap.
Tim sits in his usual place behind the front desk, occupied with the phone. His voice is as polite as he can manage, but his phrases are short. If anyone comes in, they'll have to wait for him to finish the call.
Or become fed up and slam the phone down. It's been known to happen.
One can only hope it won't cause a chain reaction.
