At the Wolfram & Hart office

Darla is standing outside of the reach of the fall of sunlight, staring outside.

She hasn't heard from Angelus in days.

She hasn't heard from Drusilla in days.

This makes her cranky. You wouldn't like her when she's cranky.

Sick of her basement suite at the Aficionado Arms, she'd made her way through the sewers to the office. Of course, she's not doing anything useful.

Lilah looked up from her computer and spotted Darla. "Oh. Nice of you to drop by. Your boy has created quite the mess."

"Fourteen year old up at the high school," Lilah replied, as she returned to her legal research. "The mess is that he seems to have left some kind of evidence lying around that points to him. I'd have thought you would have trained him better."

"I don't think it'll be a problem, since Deputy Dawg is on the case and he couldn't find his own armpit, but it never hurts to be prepared."

Lilah leaned back in her chair. "Well, should you just happen to speak with him, tell him he's got a stupid sheriff and a bunch of crazy kids looking for him."

"This town?" She thought for a few minutes. "Stay away from the school. Don't mess with the Dean. We've own a judge already, so don't worry about that."

"Torturing for information?" Lilah chuckled. "What kind of information are you looking for? And your whatever he is with the bad dye job runs a bar in town, but I guess you already knew that."

"A very low level ability," Lilah rolled her eyes. "He's still got that chip, last I heard. Drinking blood from the bottle."

"Hmm." She tapped her finger against her chin. "Did you ever meet Lorne? He's started Caritas up again. I've been holed up here researching ways to keep your boy out of jail, so I haven't been out there as much as I should have. There's a rare book shop that might interest you, though. May have prophecies and whatnot."
