Wolfram and Hart--Wednesday
Lilah glared at the radio. Today was Christmas carols. "Feliz Navidad," "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer," and "White Christmas." In the same order. On repeat.
"This was not in the contract."
She thought briefly of calling the W&H complaints department, but there was no chance she'd get anything other than a recording on the day before Thanksgiving. Maybe she'd go buy a sledgehammer.

"I'm sorry? Did you say Angelus has his soul back?"
She started laughing.

"Sorry," she said, obviously still amused. "For me, it's downright hilarious, but I can see how you might not think so. So...any leads on who returned Angel's bright and shiny soul to the King of Hair Gel?"

"So...once you've got the information, what's next on the agenda?" She asked, leaning against the desk and crossing her arms in front of her.

Darla. Calm her, quiet her, make her wait. Now was too soon, they weren't ready, the stars were wrong. Angel expected them now.
She held her hand out, rested her scarred fingertips gently on the back door of the office, the one leading in from the sewer entrance. Her dress was pale white and long, sweeping the floor, and the room spun with the effort Drusilla had exerted to walk there from Spike's pub.

She pulled a pad and pen off the desk behind her and began making a list. "Locusts? Demon snake Mayor? Naah...been done...makes such a mess afterwards..."
She flicked her hair over her shoulder and looked at Darla. "And I hate to the be the wet blanket on what is going to surely be a brilliant plan, but wouldn't it make more sense for you to rip out Angel's soul before you set the apocalypse into motion? One less annoying mostly good guy in the mix and all."

She looked for a place to sit down. The chair behind Lilah's desk would suit, and Drusilla walked slowly, carefully over to sit. "If the bang is too loud, the cake will fall."

"Who am I to argue with a delusional seer?"

Darla crossed to kneel in front of Dru and put her head in Dru's lap. "Dru, what will we lose by waiting?"
