Luke's Diner - Thursday Afternoon/Evening
Lane is sitting at the counter looking bored. And possibly eyeing the pie. It's been a slow night, and that pie looks good. Or it would if she were eyeing it, that is.

Because the two Boones had to be in the same place at the same time! Rar!Sliding onto a stool, he glanced at the other patrons and then began coveting the pies.

His hazel eyes kept cutting toward the window, as if he couldn't help looking for someone, but the action itself seemed almost to annoy him.
Catching the boy's nod, and overhearing something he'd said to the waitress, he turned and gave the boy an amused nod of greeting back. "Sorry to be nosy, but I couldn't help overhear.. you said your name is Boone?" Holding out a large hand, Aaron introduced himself, "Mine is too. Aaron Boone. Nice to meet another."

Aaron glanced over where she'd been having her conversation with the other Boone and smiled a little. He wasn't stupid - at least, when it came to other people's flirting, anyway - and said helpfully, "Now'd be fine. Then you won't have to make another trip. If you have the bill ready, you could bring that too and I could leave the payment on the counter before I go."
He looked out the window again, and resolutely dragged his gaze away. He bit into his burger and resolutely told himself he was not hoping Sonia would walk by, and that even if she did walk by, he would not hail her. Which would be fine, except he was lying to himself.

"Where are you from, Boone?" she asks, leaning forward with her arms on the counter.
