Down the stairs, the cubs tumbled ahead of Red, slipping and sliding on the floor as they rounded the corner into the shop proper. Right behind them, Red chased them in a game of 'tag' and they all slid into the counter in a flurry of legs, tails and cheerful growls.

Licking each of them on the head, Red checked that the signs in his windows were still hanging and retaped them to make sure.
