Ye Antiquee Booke Shoppe, better known as Aziraphale's, Morning.

Kiki opens the shop. She's in quite a good mood, in spite of the brothers leaving, and that would have nothing to do with the fact that the evening of drunken debauchery that took place here a few days earlier is now far enough in the past that she can look at it and laugh.

In short, the shop is peaceful, cozy, warm, and replete with tea, scones, biscuits, a cat, a ferret, and all things bookish.

...At least, until some customer comes in and frells that all up. The books on the shelves are all carefully out of order, now that Kiki has learned The System. So browsing? All good. Looking for something specific? You may as well just ask, unless you enjoy the thrill of the hunt.

Aziraphale is settled into one of the armchairs in the lounge, drinking tea and working a crossword. For some reason, he's dressed down today, in jeans, t-shirt, and sweater. Maybe it's a new look he's working on. Maybe he's in disguise. Maybe someone else picked out his clothes for the day.

"Good day, Kiki!" he replies, looking up from his newspaper and smiling. "I hope you're doing well?"

Aziraphale looks a bit embarassed at the mention of...'all that'. "Er...well, he was rather in the right. Really, we shouldn't have been so careless. And we most certainly shouldn't have encouraged your, er, imbibing. But, ah...I think we've worked it all out. It always pleased Crowley to have something to fuss about anyway."

Changing the subject, he adds, "You're looking quite well, though, my dear. Very rested."

The laughter is infectious and Aziraphale smiles. "I'm pleased that you see it that way, my dear. But I think perhaps we won't be hosting any more drinking parties here, unless we're drinking tea."

His eyes crinkle at Jiji's silent response. "And really, Crowley and I can get past a little tiff like that. It's actually a very good sign, I think, that he stopped by."

Alfred pushed his way into the door and took in a deep smell of the air. He so loved the smell of old book stores.

He approached the man sitting in the armchair. "Excuse me," he said. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but is this Azriphale's book store? Only I'm new in town and I find myself lost more often than not."

"Perhaps. I"m mostly just browsing. I'm quite the lover of old books, you see." He smiled and stuck a friendly hand out. "My name's Pennyworth. Alfred Pennyworth."

Aziraphale would agree with Kiki if it weren't for the fact that he'd never actually had a fight with Crowley before now. But, he supposes, after 6000 years one was probably due.

"Er...I got rid of it. Was nearly empty anyway," he adds, looking again a bit embarassed about the whole thing.

The man in the armchair stands up and smiles at Alfred.

"Welcome to Fandom, Mr. Pennyworth. I'm Aziraphale. Can I offer you a cup of tea?"

Alfred smiles back. "You most certainly can. What are you serving today, Mr. Aziraphale?"

"Orange scones, gingersnaps, and whatever sort of tea you prefer," he answers, moving to pour a cup for his guest. "And it's just Aziraphale, please, no Mister. Unless you prefer that, of course. Kiki calls me that."

He smiles at the young witch.

"I will have some of the orange scones, thank you. And some Earl Gray, if you happen to have it about," Alfred said, setting down. "So, Aziraphale, are you a native of Fandom? Or did you move here like so many others have?"

"My dear, I'm not certain there is such a thing as a native of Fandom," Aziraphale replies, handing Alfred a cup of Earl Gray and a plate of scones. "I lived in London before coming here, in fact. I've only been in Fandom for a few months."

"I thought I detected a familiar accent. I'm from London myself. What part of the city did you live in?" Alfred gratefully accepted the cup and the plate.

"My last bookshop was in Soho. And yourself?"

Aziraphale sits back down and picks up his own teacup. "And what brings you to Fandom?"
