fandomtownies | The Cat Business Office, Thursday

Those out earlier in the morning would see an average-looking creamy-white cat padding through the streets of Fandom. The only rather unusual thing about this cat is that it seems to be looking at street signs and house numbers, until it arrives at the Cat Business Office. Then, it stands on its hind legs and knocks at the door.

The Baron comes out. "Good morning, sir."

"Good morning!" the cat replied. "You would be the Baron of the Business Office."

"That would be I," the Baron replied with a bow. "How may I be of service?"

"I am a messenger from King Lune," the cat chirped. "His first child has just been born and he wishes you to be present for the child's naming ceremony this Saturday."

"I would be pleased to attend," the Baron replied, bowing. "I will join the royal family tomorrow. I have a few loose ends to tie up before I leave."

The cat bowed before dropping back to all fours. "Of course, Baron-sama. I shall inform my king of your acceptance. He will be very pleased." With that, the cat took off at a run down the street, leaping into the air and through a portal that abruptly appeared and snapped closed behind it. The Baron went inside to make some calls.

EDIT ~~because the mun is silly~~: Before leaving the cat handed the Baron a monogrammed invitation for two and what appear to be two train tickets for travel to the Kingdom of Cats.
