Dinner with Agatha [Mauvais Chance Apartments, 6:00]

Alright, Orlin was making the macaroni and cheese, needed to clean up the kitchen, but had cleaned the rest of the apartment from his insane dismanteling spree from the night before. Over his transectional cross reverter amplifier surround sound system his new Scissor Sisters CD was playing, It made him happy.

Orlin stood at the counter waiting for the water to boil, he hoped Clay why he didnt just call her Agatha no one knows would get here soon, he was hungry!

Agatha closed up the shop at 5, and went upstairs to her apartment. She changed out of the now rather stained with grease (the gun needed it) clothes and into her normal outfit.

Carefully looking at her map of FandomTown she found the Mauvais Chance Apartments, and making sure to take the address Orlin gave her and a spare dingbot(never leave home without one), she was on her way.

Once she got there and located the right apartment, she rang the doorbell.

Orlin had just added the Macaroni to the boiling water when he heard the doorbell ring, well actually it was more of a *chimy* sound, but he heard it.

He put the pot on broil and went to open the door.

"Wonderful!" Orlin beamed as he saw Agatha standing at the door, "Come on in."

Agatah came in, and smiled. "Hi. I hope i am not late or anything." She looked around his apartment. She really wnated to know if he had built that power-ray dryer, but she was not about to ask.

Orlin gestured at his apartment, "Do ya like?" He asked, grinning impishly, as his arm managed to take in everything that was visible from the door, which was almost everything, He thought it looked nice, kind of a cross between modern and zen.
He started across the room, "Kitchen's over here."

"I like." Following his speech pattern, Agatha also dropped parts of her sentance. She followed him into the kitchen. "Need any help?" Not that she was any good in the kitchen what so ever.

Orlin nodded over to the fridge in the corner of the kithen, he hadn't remodeled it yet.

"Could you pull out the milk and butter from there?" He asked as he dumped the macaroni into a strainer then back into the pot once the water had been drained all out.

"Sure, that even i can do." She walked over to the fridge and removed the called for items.

"So, when did you get to Fandom Town anyway? I've been here for i think two weeks now."

"Didn't you hear the radio Clay?" Orlin looks up and takes the dairy products from Agatha, and begins to measure milk and butter into the pot. "It is actually a rather funny and embaressing story."

"Not sure i did. I only started listening to the radio yesterday maybe?" Seh watched him measure dairy products. "Funny and embarassing? Do tell."

"Well, " Orlin began and then stopped and looked up at her. "Do I have to?"

"You don't have to, but now i am really really curious. And thus i really really want to know." Without knowing she was doing so, Agatha gave him her most charming smile.

Orlin sighs, he understands curiousity, "Well, when you descend you cannot really pick where you end up, and I ended up in the park, starkers." During this last bit he begins to stir the macaroni sauce into the macaroni. His neck turns slightly red, he's blushing.

Agatha blinked. "I see. Somehow i missed that on the radio. Weren't you cold?" That must have been an interesting sight. And she missed it. And promptly turned bright red from her own thoughts.

"It was chilly," Orlin confirmed, turnig around in time to catch her blushing. Guessing the direction of her thoughts his smiled turned wicked. "Luckily some one named Ivanova leant me their jacket so I could get some clothing."
His smile grew even more wicked, and sexy, "It was a good thing I had that jacket, even though it barely covered up my... er, never mind."

"I bet. February is jsut not the time to be outside underdressed." Agatha had no idea who this Ivanova person was, but if she was of the many military types around her jacket would indeed be too short.

"Well, i am glad both that you did not catch your death of cold and that you found clothing." In an attempt to both cover up the fact that she could not help blushing, and the fact that she found his smile rather appealing, she decided to ask questions instead. "So, did someone send you here? And if so why did they not have the foresight to send you with clothing?"

Orlin noticed Agatha's inability to stop blushing. So of course, his smile got even sexier, "It was... an interesting experience." He said at last. "Not one I hope to repeat again soon. As I underdtand it, public nudity is not something to do."

He turned around with a flourish, holding the pot in triumph, "Dinner is ready." He said in a dramatic voice.

"From what i gather, even in such a strange place as here, public nudity is not that much of a good thing, no."

She looked at his triumphant pose. "Good. Do you have plates i can put on the table or something?"

"The bowels and plates are in the cupboard behind you, " He indicated the cupboard behind her with a head jerk, "Do we need anything else?" he wonders out loud. *wavey wavey and cups and drinks on table*

"Not sure, you are in charge, do we need anythign else?" Seh got plates out of the cupboard, and set them on the table.

"I think we're good." Orlin motions to a seat opposite him at the table and ladles out some mac'n'cheese.
"So what do you want to know?" He asked, after he had taken a bite of the yummy goodness of cheesy noodles.

Agatha tried the yummy goodness of cheesy noodles, which were indeed yummy. "This is good!" She siad.

"Well, what does it mean that you were Ascended. Where did you Ascend to? And from where? And why? And how?" She really was full of questions.

Orlin smiled, "That's alot of questions," he said, taking another bite of mac'n'cheese. "Well, an Ascended is a being that has all the universes' knowledge and potentially unlimited power," He paused and took another bite, "Are we clear so far?" He smiled another meltingly smile that made anyone forget what they were thinking at that exact moment.

"I think so." She ate more mac'n'cheese, which was scaldingly hot and exceedingly delicious. If she looked at her food she was not looking at his smile. She failed to look at her food and was thus grinning back like a total fool.

"Wonderful," Orlin mumbuled through a mouthful of mac'n'cheese, still managing to look adorable. He swallowed and continued, "When you ascend you stay in the same universe, there are alternate realities, but remainin the universal reality that you are originally from." He inhaled a couple more mouthfulls, "I'm sorry," he said, looking at her thoughtfully, "What else did you ask? I forgot."
