Cafe Fina, Tuesday

Alfred sets up the tables, puts out the flowers, and tells the chefs to start making a few things even before people come in to have them.

'Cause, ya know. He's Alfred.

[[OOC: OCD threads up in a second. OCD threads up. Also, lunch will have to be slowplayed at around 5:30 CST, as the mun has choir rehersal. Walter will be handling dinner time.]]

Your table is waiting. Ping Walter's OCD threads if you want one of the butler-fu ordering options.

Allow Walter to suggest something for you. Let me know here if you his suggestions to be right or wrong and what would be a right or wrong suggestion.

If you want Walter to magically have your food for you without your asking, ping here.

If you want him to get it right, please let me know what would be a right choice.
If you want him to get it wrong (and he's a trainee, so of course it happens,) please let me know what a wrong choice would be.
Or you can opt for hit or miss and he'll appear with... something.

The Baron decides to take a break from his ever-growing stack of reports and decides to drop by Cafe Fina for lunch and maybe try the trout. But he's sure that Alfred already knows that.

"Ah, Alfred, you never fail to amaze me," the Baron murmured, his nose twitching at the delicious smell. "I needed to see a friendly face. But a friendly platter of fish is perhaps just as welcome."

"One of those bad longer by an excess of bad news," the Baron sighed. "I have that feeling one gets that everything is falling apart as soon as one leaves it alone for a moment." He took a bite of his fish. "Could I have a spot of that tea?"

"Peace," the Baron said simply. "In 2006, war was beginning. In the old lands of magic, militias and guardhouses are becoming armies. I am deeply worried by the reports I'm getting."

"Thankfully the Kingdom has not yet been dragged into the conflict," the Baron replied, taking the cup with a small nod of thanks. "There are more places of magic in this world that I suspect even your contacts cannot reach."

"I would gladly tell you everything, my friend," the Baron replied seriously, "But I cannot know who else I would be telling. No offense meant, but there is a reason they have survived this long. It's a place of demons, witches, wizards, flying castles, floating islands. And very soon a place of fire." He takes another sip of tea.

"I believe Lune will try to stay out of the conflict as long as he can," the Baron replied. "The Kingdom has long been autonomous enough that it can afford impartiality. And while usually I wouldn't worry, the unique make-up of Fandom makes it possible that, as you say, trouble may find its way here."
