The park, early evening
Across Fandom a male voice could be heard, grunting and giving a strange "Huh. Huh!" of a laugh. This carried on for several minutes unabated. Then the male voice spoke.
"Foul cretins! Take this!"
"Your days of stealing stale bread from idlers are over! Huah!"
At the edge of the duck pond, a man in tight red pants bobbed and pranced. His arms pinwheeled. His head jerked about. He let out more laughs and grunts. The ducks seemed unconcerned with his antics.
Why was Artie taunting the ducks? I don't think we'll ever know.

"Greetings, my--"
Quack said one of the ducks. Artie spun back around.
"You interrupt me, Quackers? Clark warned me about you,"
Aaaand he went back to his duck taunting.
About twenty minutes after Camulus walks through. . . .
"Curse . . . you . . . feathered . . . fiendish . . . flappers! I . . . shall . . . have my . . . revenge . . . ."
The ducks remained unconcerned and most duck like.

Poor Orlin.
About twenty minutes after the twenty minutes after
The ducks have wandered off to the other side of the pond, though. So Artie is mostly just bouncing, posing, and laughing to himself.

"Fabled, fabaceous, fascist, facetious, fabulated, fair-haired, fakey, Faustian, fameless, fancy . . . " and so on ". . . forgotten, futuristic, futile, fustigated, um, farty, um, feathered fiendish fiends!"
It took awhile, but Artie did eventually run out of adjectives that started with F.

Orlin tried to maintain space between them, because honestly, Camulus is rather intimidating.

Had he been listening in, or was he just, you know, being Artie?

He grinned and pinched Camulus bum, which is very difficult as his was wrapped in thick wool.

They were rapidly approaching the apartment buildings now. Camulus began to calculate.

Wonderful, almost at the apartments, he could run, lock his door, and hide. Yes, hide. That was a plan.
"So what has you in this fine mood?" He asked, waiting for the moment he could bolt for his apartment.
