Yes, they're finally in the theater. HEY, IT'S A LONG, LONG WALK!

They're also opening their fortune cookies as Xander buys tickets, because... well, it's not really that long of a walk, and they never quite got around to it at the restaurant.

Bridge cracks open his fortune cookie and... kind of stares at the fortune.

"Buy many dream boxes. Ask a friend to select one. (http://www.weirdfortunecookies.com/fortunes/dream_box.shtml)" He blinks, and turns it over. "My lucky numbers are... 2, 3, and 4. Apparently."

"What the hell is a dream box?" Xander puts his wallet away and ofefrs a ticket to bridge. "Though it works okay with the 'in bed' game, I guess."

"I... have no idea, but it sounds all mysterious and stuff. What's yours say?" Bridge asks, taking the ticket.

"You are almost there." Xander looks around the lobby. "Oh...kay. It's, um. Accurate? At least I got enough lucky numbers for a lotto ticket. Not that I plan to buy one, but it's the principle of the thing; I'd say you got gypped."

"Hey, yeah. I got the fortune that makes no sense *and* I got shorted on lucky numbers. Woe." He pouts for about five seconds, and then grins. "Want popcorn?" he asks, waving at the concession stand.

"You can share mine if you want. I mean we're in the same place, so wherever it is I'm almost to..."

Xander heads for the concession stand. "Movies without popcorn = world without joy." He tilts his head. "Which actually makes a better fortune than either of ours."

*foils your viewing plans by taking OMG TWO DAYS TO FINISH THIS DATE*

"It totally does, dude," Bridge says. "Hey, you want buttery," and he does a fingerwiggle, "or not buttery," again the fingerwiggle, "popcorn?"

Xander grins. "Buttery. Always." There's no fingerwiggle, since it's not actually contagious, though it's kind of fun to randomly try to convince people it is.

Bridge grins back and pays for the popcorn and drinks.

"And now... movie time!" he says.

Please! I'm still here!

Xander tilts his head at the screen, which is showing dancing hot dogs as they walk in. "You know, as an advertising gimmick, 'I'm cute and personable and can dance, go out to the lobby and devour me' may have a few disturbing quirks to it."

"I am totally gonna have to agree with you there, dude," Bridge says, surveying the... entirely empty theatre. "Wow. Finding a seat may be difficult. Front, back, or middle?"

"Middle, I guess? Too far back and you can't see, too close and you end up staring up the characters' noses."

"Ew, okay, yes. Middle it is," Bridge says, and heads for the seats at dead-centre.

"Scuse me, pardon me, coming through," Xander says to... people who aren't there.

He's occasionally under the impression that he's funny.

Like you'll shake us off by being slow. Pff.

*will watch as this plays out over the next six months*
