There was a sign on the door of the church today:

Seeking:
Choir participants and/or musicians
Inquire Within.

ps. No organists!

Meanwhile, inside the church, Rosette was trying to find any task to keep Chrono busy and distracted from either continuing his work on the organ or prevent him from asking too many questions on why she wasn't working yesterday.

River saw the note. She liked singing. She also liked playing the organ, but perhaps she shouldn't mention that.

She stepped inside.

Rosette was shoving a broom toward Chrono and talking about spiderwebs in the corners when River entered. She turned toward the open door with a smile. Maybe it was someone who saw the sign!

"Oh, hello!" Rosette beamed at the crazy octopus girl, but hidden behind it was a hope that she hadn't come for more painting murder confessions. "How can I help you today..." She paused, trying to recall the girl's name. All she could think was Octopus Girl, but she wasn't going to say that. "I'm sorry, dear, did I ever get your name?"

"River. I'm interested in joining the choir."

River smiled. "Oh, and thank you for listening last time we met." Being called crazy octopus girl wasn't really something she liked. Well, octopus was ok, it was the c word she had problems with. However, she decided to be forgiving today. This was a church, after all.

Rosette shrugged, grinning. "It's what I'm here for, right? Any time. Especially if you're interesting in joining the choir, River. Come; let's have a seat." She took the girl's hand and bounced over to a pew, taking a seat and bidding her to the same. She crossed her legs and straightened her shoulders, trying to seem very profressional about the whole business. She had never organized a choir before, but she wanted to at least look the part.

"Now," she said, very seriously, "have you had any previous experience in choir-ing, River?"

Demyx poked curiously at the sign, then wrinkled his nose. It didn't sound like much fun for a rocker like him.

Chrono had been getting the cobwebs by the door when his sensitive ears thought he heard a push against paper outside. Curious, he pokes his head outside to see the young man there. "Oh," he said rather plainly. "Hello."
