The Fandom Dog Days of Summer Water Balloon Fight, The Park, Friday Afternoon

Hawkeye had a megaphone and a chair to stand on. This was a classy event. He even wore his best cowboy hat, trademark maroon bathrobe and shiniest shoes to mark the occasion.

"Ladies and gentlemen," he greeted in his best wrestling announcer voice. "Welcome to the Fandom Dog Days of Summer Water Balloon Fight. You have your balloons here," he gestured to where several big barrels of balloons were being manned. "There are three stations around town where you can get more. Go find them. No actual fighting allowed. Stick to stuff that won't land you in the clinic or the trooper station. Use your common sense. That means no aiming for anyone's eyes, groins or appendages of alien origin that I'm not even going to begin to get into.

One last rule - you break it? You're paying for it. Now get out there, enjoy what's left of summer and have fun!"

Hitting staff is completely undignified. Have fun!

All the way down to the causeway. Chaos! Chaos, I say!

All the way up to the school. Doo-bop-shoo-bop.

After about half an hour of fighting, there seems to be a low-flying plane over Fandom. How odd. But wait...something has fallen out of the plane! Many different somethings. There are snakes falling from the plane as it passes over! Ack! They're all over town! FLEE! FLEE, I SAY!

I've had it with these motherfrakkin' snakes on this motherfrakkin' island! Yo.

John's brought a backpack. Yes, he's excited. And he's off with a backpack full of balloons.

Oh, John is so doing this.

He peers around for Tex before lobbing a balloon against the building.

Marty fills up his backpack with ballons and then looks for a spot to pick off unsuspecting citizens.

Willow loaded up her happy face backpack with balloons.

She then went off to doctor the balloons so that they also had glitter in them.

She got wet while doing this, but it was so worth it in her opinion.

Willow walked through the park, attempting to look innocent and in no way like someone who'd loaded up her water balloons with glitter. In fact, she looked like someone who had no balloons at all. Really.

John might sneaky sneak up near her. But he stays hidden for now.

Willow might be oblivious to anyone sneaking.

John lobs a warning water balloon near her feet and then dives behind cover.

Callisto loaded up on balloons.

She looked entirely too predatory for comfort.

Callisto hid near the school gates.

It really shouldn't be a surprise that Tex has been keeping an eye on things. She saw the balloon station, so she's came prepared.

"Step away from the building," she said, holding what appeared to be the biggest super soaker water gun ever to be made. It even came with a back pack.

"Not setting things on fire?"

Willow eeped. She dove for cover, and blindly aimed one of her doctored balloons in the direction of whoever had thrown at her.

"The building need a wash," John says, holding another balloon. "It's for the good of aesthetics!"

Tex' finger moved to the trigger. "Throw that and I'll show you aesthetics up close."

John snickers quietly but does get splashed a little from the errant balloon. He decides to disguise his voice.

"Come out with your hands up and gimme all your balloons," he says in his best Italian accent.
