The Park; Late Thursday Afternoon.

Sakurazaki had swiped one of Yuuko's muffins, and felt completely justified in doing so, considering that, technically, Sakurazaki had bought them, and, therefor, was free to take one. She perched on top of the bench, loafers on the sitting part. Idly, she tore off little pieces from the top and tossed them at the ducks, watching them scramble and fight over them with an amused little smile as she waited for Jude to get out of work, wondering what might be the best way to utilize their time today.

[[mostly for the boyfriend, but if anyone wants to stop and say hi before he shows up, all the more yay. ]]

Saigo was practicing his water landings, and take offs. It was easier when most of the other ducks had migrated already.

Sakurazaki watched the duck who she didn't quite recognize as the one she helped name for a little bit, and decided that just landing and taking off was simple. What the duck needed were missiles to avoid for greater challenge. She carefully aimed her muffin crumbs for more than just feeding purposes.

//What in?// Saigo quacked, barely dodging the unexpected attack. He wheeled about in the air, ready to retaliate, but then saw who it was who was firing. Why would his co-namer do this? Perhaps to test him? Or perhaps she'd heard that he'd sat on the humans' statue earlier. He came in for another landing that would take him to the shore of the pond.

Sakurazaki frowned. "Surrendering already? I barely even got my cannons warmed up."

Well, at least the duck seemed to like the muffin. Sakurazaki threw a few more crumbs down for him, wondering if muffins were okay for ducks to eat and if Ranma or Jude would be learning duck at all for their Interspecies Communication class.

Hikaru had gone to pick up Kaoru from work and they had taken a different route through the park to get back. "Hey Setsuna."

Perhaps she'd merely been trying to get his attention. It had worked. And of course, had provided a bit of excitement.

Sakurazaki's eyes narrowed a bit. They were lucky that she was having a very, very good day. It made it easy to quell the urge to kill. "Boys."

She gave them a level look as she ripped off a piece of muffin and tossed it to another duck. She hoped they would able to get that part of it, so she spoke the less obvious. "Waiting for Jude to get out of work."

"Uh oh. Relationship zone." They wave their hands around like they're blocking off the space. No reason at all for this.

Sakurazaki arched an eyebrow at them. " 'Relationship zone?' What? Are you putting up a barrier to ward off cooties or something?"

They paused before bursting out laughing. "That's ridiculous Setsuna. What a childish thing to say."

Sakurazaki rolled her eyes. "Yes, because I was so serious too. But I guess you guys would know childish better than anyone."

Jude clattered through the park from the direction of Luke's, a takeaway container in one hand and a bread bag of heels in the other. A smile appeared on his face as soon as he saw her, and that smile grew into a wicked grin as he sped up.

Oh yeah. He was going to try and jump the bench that she was sitting on.

Sakurazaki tore off a piece of muffin and threw it at the twins. Maybe the ducks would attack.

"You're right, I am. But right now all I'm seeing are the world's worst campaign managers, which isn't as nice. Get yourselves some skateboards, maybe then we'll talk."

Sakurazaki's head turned at the unmistakable sound of approaching skateboard wheels, and then they widened when they saw the speed at which it was approaching and that...look on Jude's face. Unable to help it, she winced, closing her eyes and fought the urge to cover her eyes. He was not going to....oh, God, he totally was. She hoped he made it; this could get potentially painful for the both of them if he didn't.

"Hey, for one, we didn't know you were serious until later. And two, we didn't know John was going to draw on that thing." They do a big exagerated shrug. "We voted for you. Sorry."

"You did?" Sakurazaki smiled for a moment; of course, she had expected them too, but that was all the more reason for her to believe that they hadn't. "...Arigato."

Jude was travelling way too fast to stop. He had hit the crucial point where stopping would result in more injury than actually going for it. So he launched himself and his board into the air, arching over the bench and his girlfriend. Everything was going swimmingly until his back wheels caught on the back of the bench.

"Whoa . . ." Jude breathed, pitching forward. His shoulder hit the ground first and he rolled, sprawling onto his back but still managing to hold up the takeaway box, leaving it unharmed.

"Oh, my God, Jude!"

Sakurazaki was at his side in seconds flat, kneeling down next to him. She took the held-up takeout box and set it aside, then turned back to him, hands ready to help him sit up if he needed it. Her face was marked with distressed worry. "Are you okay?"
