The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Night

There was a reason Lucifer hired his two new employees, and that was so he wouldn't be behind the bar anymore.

But there he was tending bar, still wearing his usual suit. But he did take off his jacket and roll up his sleeves for the evening.

The Nest was open for anyone not attending the party going on over at the other club in town.

So, a man walks into a bar...

Yuki wasn't in the mood for noise. He was up for a drink and a quiet smoke. Hopefully Wade would be choosing the more social option and NOT coming here. That would be nice. And maybe Rosette would come around. That would be nice too. "Whiskey with some ice." He didn't say please, but he didn't sound overly demanding or rude.

Lucifer turned around from stocking the bar. "Any brand in particular?"

He should have ducked.

Sorry. I'm in a class right now and didn't remember to put it up until just now.

How about we have Wade go hunting and Schrodinger is forced to skip work on account of repeated deadness?

'S cool, I just wanted to get the post with Yuki started early because I will be collapsing early tonight.

Unless I get some coffee, that is, and then you should all fear.

"Anything's fine." He rests his head in his hand thoughtfully.

*fears already*

Grabbing two glasses, Lucifer filled one with ice and then poured whiskey in both. he handed the iced drink to Yuki and took a sip of the other.

"Whiskey on the rocks."

Do you want to do the killing Schrodinger thing, though? And where?

Mwahaha!

Shooting at a catboy? HELLS YES.

The Preserve? Where won't draw the troopers?

"Thanks. So I heard you run this place. And with an iron fist no less. Nice work." It's a compliement so it's sort of softer than his usual cold tone.

"I was not aware that I was doing that," Lucifer replied, smirking into his whiskey. "You're Shuichi's friend, yes?"

"Friend?" He laughs a bit. "I guess you can call him that."

"And that would be the reason for your helping him the other night?"

"I don't really know why. I think it's cute how pathetic he is."

"Oh?"

The small Wilson seemed cuter to him, but that wasn't something he would ever admit to thinking.

"Yeah. He was sobbing his eyes out on the park bench, all worried you'd fire him for screwing up. Pff." Yuki smirks.

"I wasn't aware that I was such a cruel employer."

"I say, keep him thinking you are. He'll work harder that way."
