Venture Industries, Fandom Branch. Friday. Shrink Ray Trials! [post-Assembly]

There was a big neon flashing sign installed out front of Venture Industries, today. It read:
Be a Test Subject! Get $75.33!

Dr. Venture had three different rays to test, hopefully one would work properly.

Come one, come all, be a guinea pig and get paid waaay not enough for it.

For Volunteers to converse and chat

It was time to begin.

Dr. Venture pointed at Cassie. "You, girl, you're the control group. I'm going to switch this harmless flashlight on you, and you will neither shrink nor grow. It sounds stupid, but you need to do this in serious science."

"This group will be testing out my first ray," Dr. Venture said. "Volunteers?"

[ooc: This is for Jack and any sudden new volunteers for part-engorgement.]

Dr. Venture erected a screen and was now hiding results from the test ~~victims~~ subjects.

"Okay, one at a time, now. Testing out the other ray. Wait your turn and no peeking!"

[ooc: For the teeny-tiny shrinkers]

For those who are not just wee-tiny, but teeeeny-wee-tiny.

[ooc: ...and unless you have ideas you want to throw at me, you're on your own, here.]

Just add water! Hurray!

Cassie was there, because shrinking research called for her attention. She signed her waiver and headed into the lab.

Cassie was there, looking at the lab with a bit of dismay.

"...okay," Cassie said, stepping over to where Dr. Venture directed.

Dr. Venture turned on the flashlight. "There, nothing happened, ta-da, control group done."

And then, Cassie was mean.

And shrunk down to about three inches tall.

"...the hell, this is only supposed to be a flashlight," Dr. Venture said. He then turned it on H.E.L.P.eR and... nothing happened.

"Okay seriously, what the hell?"

Cassie started laughing. A lot.

Dr. Venture hesitantly turned the flashlight on himself.

And ended up seeing spots, as that is what you do when you shine a flashlight in your own eyes.

"This is only a flashlight!"

Cassie grew back up to normal size and gathered her clothes, still laughing. Thank goodness she'd been wearing her suit, like always.

"Oh very funny, I'm guessing you do that normally?" Dr. Venture said, pointing a finger. "Out of my lab! I never want to see your face around here again!"

Cassie left the lab.

Still laughing.

Shrink Rays always remind me of Reducto from Harvey Birdman.

Just thought I'd share.

Leo came in, remembering what a far out trip this had been last time. Plus, money.

"Mememememmeememee?" H.E.L.P.eR held out a waiver for Leo.

Liz was interested in checking out the trials, she was also interested in being a test subject so she signed the waiver and went into the lab.

Just like before, Leo signed the waiver. He wondered if he'd get to freak out the squares again.
