The Devils Nest, Saturday Night

After getting a note from Lucifer that he had to fill in for someone else's shift tonight, Shuichi danced his way over to the Devil's Nest. Extra work meant extra pay~!

He'd been in a fairly good mood all day; he'd finally started a new song and it seemed like it was getting off to an awesome start (he hadn't showed it to stupid-blond-critic-face back at the house yet either). Hopefully he'd get some business tonight and add to the awesomeness of the day.

Shuichi is bouncing around, humming his new song. Him and his pink hair are ready to serve!

Comfy seats and clean tables are ready to serve as well.

Shuichi really needed to go over to the local music store to find something more interesting to play! He found some low-key jazz to play...which wasn't very good head-banging music, but Lucifer didn't seem to like it when he played his Nittle Grasper...

The coin had turned up tails again, which meant Rosette headed to the Nest, this time wanting to drag Chrono along, too, but he refused. And was strangely adamant about it. Huh. Strange. Anyway, Rosette was surprised to see another new bartender there.

A...particularly bouncy one. Huh. The T double B C was losing his touch, if you asked her.

"Hello~" He gives a final bounce of his bright pink hair and settles himself near the counter with a wide grin.

Rosette chuckled a little. My, wasn't he just...energetic. She really thought him bizarre, but in a fascinated sort of way. "Hey there. You have too much caffeine before you came into work, or are you just naturally like this?" she asked.

"I'm in a good mood!" He proclaimed quite enthusiasitcally, proud that he could understand all of what she was saying.

Rosette took a moment of thought before finding her sweetest smile. "Good enough of a mood to give nice, pretty nuns free drinks?"

Never hurt to try.

He tilted his head to the side for a moment before shrugging. "Sure~!" Why not? He was getting an extra days worth of pay! He could half the price and say she was a teacher or something. Nuns taught...

"Eee!" Rosette let out a happy little sound and could practically hug the guy. If she knew what he was rationalizing about the teacher discount, something she herself had tried to get away with before, she probably would hug him, in a particularly smothering nature. "Thank you! Scotch on the rocks, please, then. And my name's Rosette, by the way."

Yuki NEARLY turned around when he saw both Shuichi and Rosette. But it's way more important for him to look indifferent and cool. He makes a face and then leads Daisy to a seat at the bar. "After you miss Adair?"

"Why thank you, Yuki." Daisy awarded him with a big grin. "So this is the Devil's Nest, huh?"

"Right you are. It's usually nice and quiet here." Uh oh... ordering drinks. He glances over at the pink haired fool.

Nice and quiet? "But isn't it a dance club?" She followed his glance, figuring she'd see what he'd do before ordering a drink for herself.

Oh! What an easy drink, too! Yuki ordered that the first night he worked here.. Sigh. Yuuukiii

Shuichi grinned and turned to get a glass and ice, bouncing a little as he grabbed the bottle of scotch and started to pour. "I'm Shuichi~" He twitters, setting the glass in front of her.

Rosette really couldn't help giggling a little at him; he was just so...bouncy! She was still mystified by how the hell he got a job here. She'd have to find out what Lucifer really thought about this guy. "Shuichi," Rosette focused herself as she pronounced the strange name and, finding her pronounciation good, she nodded. "Very nice to meet you, Shuichi." She took a sip of the drink. "What brings you to this little island?"

Shuichi had been busy talking with Rosette, he hadn't even noticed the two people who'd walked in until they had gotten close enough.

YUKI! Oh my god! It's YUKI YUKI YUKII-who's he with?

Shuichi, not being one to draw conclusions so quickly, just grinned wider, bouncing more as Yuki came closer. "Good evening~!"

"I'm a musician! I came to write music so my best friend will join our band again." Shuichi smiled proudly. He'd soo been practicing how to answer that question so that it sounded perfect. It might have been a strange answer, but it was the most concise way to tell his story.

"A musician, really?" Rosette brightened at the idea of knowing a musician; she'd always wanted to be one of those singers at the bars in New York, who got to wear all the pretty gowns and pearls and have millions men just fall in love with her voice and stage presence. But never could, because, y'know. Nun. "Do you play an instrument, too, or do you just write and sing?"

"Sure it is. But it's never as noisey as that kareoke bar." He just looks at Shuichi. Not like he's looking at someone he's intimate with every night, but like someone who's working at the bar, someone he's never met. "You want anything now? I'll order when you do."

"The keyboard!" He held up a triumphant fist. "But mostly just singing."

"...Keyboard?"

Oh, my. He's momentarily confused the nun from the past.
