A classic tale of boy-meets-girl, lamp-eats-people with Jack Nicholson in one of his first film roles. Sebring's exotic lamp has an insatiable appetite only for blood and flesh. As the ruthless plant grows larger and larger with each feeding, so do Sebring's affections for shop girl, Holly. The madness culminates with Sebring and his bloodthirsty lamp in a feeding frenzy of epic proportions.

"Thanks!" Turtle smiled a little at Tannim as she entered the theater. "We gonna get any snacks?" she asked, then leaned in, lowering her voice. "I totally slipped the gummi worms into my jacket before we left despite not having mentioned it in previous post lol."

"Popcorn and soda would be nice," Turtle nodded after a moment to think. "But you should let me get 'em. I mean, you got the tickets..." And something tells me I can afford it wayyyyyy more, anyway.

"You sure?" Turtle asked, bouncing her steps a little as she followed Tannim. "I mean, I am the one with the job and the thousands in stocks and the owning half a business thing." That look on her face? Definately the pre-emptive to sticking out her tongue at him.

Turtle shrugged, leaning on the consessions counter a little. Like she'd argue with not having to spend any money too much. "If you don't mind."

Turtle's smile grew a bit as she looked up at him, still leaning on the counter. "Thanks, Tannim."

"We shall!" Turtle chuckled a little and, with a slight bounce and trailing braid, she headed toward the theater. "Should we sit up front, middle, or back?"

"Middle's good," Turtle agreed, bouncing down the aisle and dropping with overexaggeration into the seat. She grinned over at Tannim as he joined her. "I'm excited for the movie; I haven't seen it before."

"There's a musical version of a movie about a blood-thirsty lamp?" Turtle snerked.

"They laughed at you?" Turtle laughed, too. "Why? I lucked out, not having any problems with my lamps, but my dresser did try to play tricks on me."

Turtle smirked, although she really had no idea who was right, Wyatt and Tannim or the lamp, because she didn't have classes with either of them and, because of that, couldn't determine their...scholarly aptitude. But the thought still amused her.

"Nothing much, just....refusing to be opened for a while, and then, when I thought I'd finally be able to get out a shirt, it'd close again. Almost got my fingers smashed a few times." She was a little wide-eyed at that.

Turtle held up her hands and wiggled her fingers a little. "Almost smashed," she repeated, with emphasis and a grin. "They're fine. I kicked it and that sure showed it." She let out a small chuckle, biting her lip against a now bashful, apologetic sort of smirk. "I'm sure you can understand that."

Turtle shifted, nudging her shoulders into the back of the seat to get comfortable, as she giggled. "You can't tell me it isn't an effective means of dissuasion."

"Oh, good. You're learning!" Chuckling a little, Turtle stuck her tongue out at him and, while she still had lights, before they were dimmed for the film, she made sure to get a good, light chucking of popcorn at him.
