Devil's Nest, Wednesday Night

Kabuto brought his anatomy textbook to the bar with him, deciding that if he wasn't busy, he might as well study. And if he couldn't study the real thing, a textbook would, probably, work.

He made sure the place was clean before opening, since it just wouldn't do for it to be dirty. After a final check-over, he went back to the bar to read. If there were customers who wanted drinks, they could ask.

Buh, I need to put a stickynote on my forehead about this, I think.

Because Caritas no longer seemed like a safe option to avoid people at, there was Wade at his usual bar.

"Gimme something with enough alcohol to kill a horse. And not one of those cute miniature horses, a big Kentucky Derby type horse."

..can the sticky note have a sound symbol on it?

Kabuto gave him a flat look. "You again." He frowned, then made Deadpool an Adios Motherfucker (http://www.1001cocktails.com/recipes/cocktails/recipe_cocktail.php?recette_cocktail=100100&recipe=adios+motherfucker). "Drink it as fast as you can," he advised.

Rosette? Certainly hadn't clumbsily, drunkenly followed Deadpool over from Caritas to the Devil's Nest. Really. Just like she wasn't lurking somewhere in the shadows trying to figure out what the hell to say. That nun muttering to herself as she sorted it out was just a figment of your imagination. Hum hum.

Deadpool shot it back in one go. "Gimme a couple dozen more of those and we'll be in business."

Deadpool? Ignoring her entirely. Acknowledging her existence would just make him angrier and you wouldn't like him when he's angry. He got green and strong and... wait. No, that was Bruce Banner.

"Sure." Kabuto mixed up a few more, setting them one by one in front of Deadpool. If he wanted to destroy his liver, that was his choice. "So, did you wake up with the wrong person?" he asked innocently.

And that would be Wade doing a spit-take. Waste of a perfectly good drink.

"Not recently, no."

"No? You have that look." Kabuto shrugged, getting a cloth to wipe up the mess. "My mistake..." As he cleaned, he added, "Funny. That's the way Uzumaki-sensei sounded when I talked to him the other day..."

Good. Because, if he was ignoring her, then he wouldn't notice how Rosette kept going to approach him, opening her mouth as if to say something, deciding that that wouldn't work, closing her mouth, then going back to sulk in the corner and brood and think again until she came up with something else, started to approach, opened her mouth to speak, changed her mind, went back, lather, rinse, repeat.

"For the love of-"

Deadpool's head, meet the bar. Oh, wait. I see you two have already met. Repeatedly.

"You're one of his students, huh?"

"I'm his TA," Kabuto replied smugly. "Would you like another drink?"

There might have been a little angry twitch each time she got close, but other than that? No indication that he saw or heard her. He continued to shoot back those delightfully girly drinks that Arashi's TA kept giving him.

"The evil one, right?" He asked, downing the ones remaining on the bar. "Keep 'em coming lil' evil ninja."

Finally, Rosette seemed to have decided on a plan of action. She, though quite aware that she did so at the risk of potential bodily harm, went and sat down on the stool next to Deadpool. And then she ordered a very, very, very strong drink before she quietly said, with a sigh, "I'm sorry. For ditching on you tonight." And then she glanced over and up on him, with as contrite and humbled look as her alcohol-flushed face could manage.

"Evil is subjective," Kabuto replied with a shrug. "I don't think of myself as evil. The Hokage is just very set in his own ways." He would keep Deadpool supplied with drinks unless someone else came along.

Pausing mid-drink, Deadpool sighed. He was too drunk to deal with this right now. "Thanks and all, but I don't really care about that."

"What is it, then?" Rosette asked quietly as if she wasn't sure she really wanted that answered. As if she already knew what the answer might be. "I worked it out in my head. I can do that sometimes, you know, figure things out, put two and two together to make three...err, four, even." Okay, so she'd had a lot to drink and wasn't as cognizant as she was trying to seem. "Either way, we haven't talked since I asked about the car...."

"Hokage? That's a pretty dumb title." Deadpool swirled the drink in it's glass, looking at it closely. Not that he was worried about poison or anything, just boredom. "And evil really isn't subjective."

Had to bring up the car, didn't she? He was doing good at ignoring most of last week up until now. "Yeah, on your trip to do fuck all knows with that Dickweed."
