The Causeway, Late Sunday night

The Tick paused at the causeway, a very large backpack on his back. He turned around and took one long, final look at the school he had devoted the past two years of his life to.

He was going to miss it here. The students, the faculty, the stores, the people. And the dragons. They made this Sapphire Sentinel of Justice into something more than he was, a fuller person, now capable of more, understanding of more! For that, he would be forever indebted to them.

The Tick reached into his pocket and pulled out a PEZ dispenser, placing it on the ground in memory of one girl who would never know how much she alone had changed him. And then, with a deep breath, he clutched a wooden figure to his chest and marched forth across the causeway, towards Destiny.

And so Tick leaves the island. There will be one more post tomorrow evening in his journal just to wrap things up in his story, but after that he is officially gone from the game.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this character so fun for me to play for the past two years. I wouldn't have gotten into the game without can_be_more pushing me to app The Tick as a Criminal Justice teacher, so having him leave is a big thing for me.
