"I'd gone shopping at the mall in Alexandria for Wyatt's birthday presents. I was on my way back to my car when some woman reached down to answer her cell phone as she was driving through the parking lot," Isabel explained with an eye roll. "She inadvertently veered over and hit me. I went flying and wound with a big gash on my head and some banged up ribs. I could have dealt with that except they took me to the hospital and took blood. My blood? Isn't exactly normal."
