Book Haven - Friday 10am-5pm

He flew in, fixed his hair, turned the sign, set out the usual tea and cookies and even added a small tureen of soup to the table (as he still hadn't gotten the hang of cooking for one or two quite yet). The shop got a quick dusting right after that, which assured him that nothing else much needed to be done for the store, and then he dug through the book bin in the back for something easy to lose oneself in...

The Book Haven was open.

He was at the front counter, reading a very helpful sort of book (http://www.amazon.com/This-Date-Day-Day-Holidays/dp/0071398279/ref=pd_bbs_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1202487074&sr=8-3) that he thought might make him a little better informed for some of the silliness he might find here in the world that held Kansas.
