The angels haven't left yet. Why would they leave?

They were having ever so much fun here.

Silly humans and their silly weapons.

Mmm, earworms.

Andros had gone out for his usual early morning run. He knew that he probably shouldn't be outside with everything that had been going on but he had thus far managed to avoid running into any of the angels so he didn't think that today would be any different.

Andros could be a bit of an idiot sometimes.

Those angel statues were still around, still minding their own business. They were innocent, perfect...angels, if you will.

Andros slowed down before coming to a complete stop. He had started to get the feeling that there was something near him that shouldn't be there.

When I'm in the shower, I'm afraid to wash my hair
Because I might open my eyes and find someone standing there

But maybe showers remind me of Psycho too much

It was just a statue.

Sitting innocently.

Nothing bad going on here.

As promised, Wyatt had stopped by Savannah's room before her early morning class to orb her out to the preserve to get a spell component she needed. They would orb in and out -- no looking for angels and no doing anything stupid.

"What exactly will this spell do when you get all of the components?" Wyatt asked her.

"The spell will allow me to sense and track other beings for the duration that the spell lasts." She said, standing up. "It should help us find those missing and lead us to a clue about how to find them."

Wyatt nodded and took her hand. "Ready?"

Savannah stepped closer. "Yeah, lets go so we can get back and I can do this."

They left Savannah's room and in moments, they were in the preserve.

Andros eyed the statue cautiously, so far nothing bad was happening but he also didn't want to let his defense down just then.

"All right, find what you need and let's get out of here," Wyatt said, looking around them warily.

The angel remained hunched over, eyes hidden and motionless.

The stories were false. They were just statues. Just a hill of lies.

Imagine that, when you don't go looking for an angel, one just happens to be there, sitting quietly.

It wasn't looking at Savannah or Wyatt. It's eyes were covered, back hunched, downcast and still.

Since nothing seemed to be happening Andros slowly stepped away from the statue and began to turn away.

Savannah nodded. She didn't want to stay out here longer than neccessary... looking on the ground, she found the leaves she was needing... neck to the statue, which seemed not to be awake yet.

She needed this component.

"Wyatt..." Savannah whispered. "How fast can you get out of here if we need to?" She turned to look at Wyatt.

It was so easy. So very easy and the next time Andros looked back, he'd see the angel in a completely different position.

Still non threatening.

He was just pointing Andros out of the park. That's all. Helpful.

Wyatt held out his hand, ready to use his TK if necessary. "Grab it and let's get the hell out of here," he said. If Savannah's spell worked like she said, it could be invaluable for finding the missing people. He kept his eyes on the statue.

The statue remained impassive. It was almost ignoring Savannah and Wyatt, much more concerned with whatever it might be thinking.

Or, perhaps, reliving the fun it had had sending all their friends away.

Oh yes.

Savannah didn't like this.

The damn angel was sitting right in the midst of the plants she needed. She didn't want to get closer, but for the sake of everyone missing, she had no choice but to try.

That would be why she moved closer to the angel and was crouching, carefully reaching for the plants around it's base.

Wyatt's eyes left Savannah and the statute for just a fraction of a second as he quickly scanned the area around them for any other angels.

The angel didn't even need that much time before it was changed, moving quick enough that neither person saw.

It was pointing now, pointing over their heads. Perhaps, a warning? A helpful angel?

Probably not.

Hahaha, me too!

Savannah gasped in surprise as she looked up from the ground and found that the angel's position had changed. She dropped the plant she hand and stood up. She turned to look at Wyatt.

"It moved."

Her hand was at her side as she started prepping the energy bolt spell she had just learned two nights ago. She needed those plants!
