Pixie Dust, Monday [4/07]
Someone had sent Pixie Dust an order of obnoxious, cheap T-shirts, ones that said things like "90 percent Sweetheart, 10 percent Bitch" and "Firemen Do It With a Big Hose." Romeo was trying to get them all boxed up to be shipped back before Ms. Bell could find them and either throw a fit or decide to hand them out in his class. He wasn't sure which she'd do, and he didn't want to find out.
There was one he might just keep, though. Truth in advertising was a good thing.
Pixie Dust was open.

Rikku got a wave, once his hands were free, but he attempted to give Yurika a quick kiss.

"We're here to shop," Rikku said. (After they were finished with their greeting.) "I, uh, apparently need some stuff? Kind of a lot, I think. Hi!"

And that of course meant Pixie Dust and the recommendations of its employees. She gave Romeo a smile as she walked into the store.

He walked over to a rack of dresses. "If you want a dress, this is nice, or this if you like more color. And this is very simple. But we have a lot of styles, look around"

It must happen.

Luckily Reno had ... no thinking about Reno.
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
"Do any of those look right for you?"
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
Shoe-wise, she came away with a pair of black pumps, a pair of wedges (http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2080112845&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1167&N=1167&Nao=36&Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&Nu=Product+ID), and a pair of simple black pumps (http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2082465943&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1167&N=1167&Nao=180&Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&Nu=Product+ID).

"Sorry," she said, turning back to Romeo and looking over the tops he pulled out. "Ooooh. Okay. These?" And with that she grabbed the red, the light green, the t-shirt and the mesh. "I like. And ... oooh, am I allowed to pick things out, too, or is that kinda off-limits?"
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
She was, actually, grabbing (http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2083103847&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1163&N=1163&Nao=72&Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&Nu=Product+ID) some flats (http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2080725601&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1163&N=1163&Nao=108&Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&Nu=Product+ID) for Rikku to try on, based on the tops being offered. "Please? If you try on the brown heels, I won't wave any more at you, I promise! They're sturdy and everything!"
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
Rikku had boot issues. Shhh.
"Um. So. How about ... this? Or this kinda kicky red one, or something all weird and pretty like this?" She looked up hopefully. "And I know there's orange on it, but I have to get this. I have to."
She was also fingering a black-and-white tank, idly. No colors, but ... there was something pretty about it.
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
He gestured to rack of jeans. "Jeans are jeans, I fear, except for the fit. But this red pair might look nice with some of the things you're trying on."
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
"You like sandals and boots, right?" Yurika grabbed a pair of fancier espardrilles (http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2964096/0~2376778~2372808~2372949~2385256?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=2385256&P=1), as well as a more basic (http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2968254/0~2376778~2372808~2372949~2385256?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=2385256&P=1) pair. "Try these for fit, then pick a color," she suggested. "If you pick out a cute skirt, then we can look for more boots to match."
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
She climbed Mount Gagazet in green short-shorts. In drifts of snow. Logic did not apply, here.
"Okay. So I'm trying on ... the green tops? And both reds? And the one I totally need? Am I missing anything? And are skirts more for the fancy-type stuff or can I wear them with normal tops?"
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
"I like the way skirts look," he added. "Denim, maybe? Or plain cotton, so it feels less ... flouncy-girly." Though he liked the flouncy-girly, which explained the last skirt in the handful he gave her.
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
She grabbed the rest of the skirts. "But these I'll try. And the shoes even. SOME of the shoes."
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
Re: Shop With Romeo [4/07]
Her throne of judgment just happened to look suspiciously like Romeo's lap. Huh. Funny, that.
