The Park, Friday Afternoon

It was all over save for the formalities. Billy hadn't gotten his diploma yet, but he was to all intents and purposes, a High School Graduate. Something he'd never in a million years expected to be.

How was he celebrating? By practicing his most advanced katas blindfolded in the park.

Storm Shadow stopped nearby, watching silently.

Billy suddenly froze. He'd heard someone. And the heartbeat, the footsteps, they sounded very familiar.

Still without speaking, Storm Shadow attacked.

Billy countered, blocked, and pressed the attack himself. The two martial artists sparred briefly, then stopped, grinning. Billy ripped the blindfold off, and bowed to his sensei.

"It's a good thing Snake-Eyes told me what you're up to."

"Yes that would somewhat have ruined the mood." Storm Shadow smirked. "Did you know I was coming?"

"Nope, Duke just said he had a surprise for me. I had no clue what he meant."

"You still don't. Go to the restaurant, and you'll see what the surprise really is."
