Toby didn't need the extra money now that he had no boyfriend to spend it on, but he was more than happy to head into work for an extra day just to hang out with people and maybe find himself something nice to wear for his co-TA. Dude, who knew Ender was into dudes?

He set to work straightening the fancy, pretty, formal dresses that were still right up front. He paused when he got to the handsome tuxes and suits, wondering if he needed something new for this dance. Maybe just new shoes.

Toby was available for anyone's prom-dressing needs!

Dude, Toby's busy with other people, it's not like he's going to cry if you don't want his help.

Okay, so maybe he will cry. He loves people who want his help better than the others. But really? Right now he just loves this top hat he tried on. Maybe he'll wear it and a pair of striped tuxedo pants to the dance...Ender so would love that.

"Hey, what's up?" Amber said by way of greeting. "I've so got to find a purple dress. Help?"

"Hey! Purple you say?" Toby considered this for a moment as he looked her over and rifled the rack in front of him to pull out some choices. "Something simple (http://www.shopdress.com/Detail.bok?no=4081)?"

Amber checked the price tag. Damn. A hundred bucks was more than she had to spend on a dress. "Um, maybe something else?" She started going through the racks. "What do you think of this (http://www.windsorstore.com/shop_outfit.aspx?id=78374)?" Eighty was a little better.

"You'd be totes hot in it," Toby nodded. "Who's the lucky guy...or girl?" There was always hope, okay.

Her grin was immediate. "Thanks, and his name is Cal. Do you know him?" She was so buying this dress.

"Oh, the dude from the gym? Hot and Greek?" Toby had an eye for the important things.

Amber's brows shot up. "You think he's hot?"

Toby laughed. "Duh. That's one thing you can say about this school, the eye candy abounds."

"He would laugh at you, you know, for even thinking something like that about him. I told him once and he gave me that stupid stare like I had two heads or something," she said, shaking her head. "I'm not telling him ever again. But, uh, you can." Because that might be kind of amusing.

"He's one of the weird people who wants me to put on more clothes," Toby rolled his eyes, shaking his shiny hair. "Something tells me compliments are not what that boy wants to hear from a guy like me." Toby wasn't looking to get beat up by homophobes, here.

"He's probably afraid of staring," she said, amused at herself. "Seriously. Shirtlessness is totes hot. Cal's kind of stuck up like that. He's Greek."

Sokka peered into the the store, looked around, verified that Professor Bell was nowhere to be seen, and then strode in confidently. "Make me pretty!" he demanded, holding out his arms to show off his plain blue tunic.

"Hey," Claire greeted the distractingly hot shirtless guy from sex ed. "So, I owe my roommate a scarf, do you sell them here?"

Toby looked Sokka over and bit his lip in a really difficult moment of thought. "Dude, just say no to tunics. We are not in South Central, here."

That just gave Toby such ideas. "Like silk scarves for binding people to beds? I think we've got some..." Damn, he missed Kevin.

"Of course he is. We're all hot," Toby smiled at Amber. "You gonna try on that frock? I bet it spins good."

Claire blinked a couple times. "Like ... I guess, yeah. Like a scarf for winter but not that heavy? It's for Penelope. I kind of gave hers to Tino."

"Dude! No fair being mean to Pen!" Toby scolded. "Why'd you give away her scarf?"

"I think I was trying to prove a point," Claire said, grimacing a little. "I've been trying to talk her out of wearing it for weeks and she won't listen, sooooooo ... I kind of grabbed it? And now I owe her a new scarf."

"Yah, you betcha! Oh, and I need shoes and fake fashion jewelry to go with it!" She bounced. "Dressing room is where?"

Joan and Tosh entered the shop and Joan paused. "You know, I always wished I had an older sister."

"I know what you mean," Tosh replied, looking around the shop. "I have no idea where to begin looking."
