Myn still kind of had a hard time thinking of it as a date, but it was a good kind of confusion. The worries were easily squished and shoved out of the way.
He showed up a little earlier than the time he'd agreed to meet Eric, getting them a table but not ordering anything without him.
Which had nothing at all to do with not really knowing what was on the menu. Nothing at all. Really.
(for one, but open for your seafood needs!)

"Two surf-and-turf," Eric ordered, when the waiter came by. "With a one-pound lobster for me, and a one-and-a-half for Myn, thank you. And a bottle of the Yellow Tail Chardonnay, please." He glanced at Myn. "You don't mind wine, do you?"
The waiter -- mockingly -- asked for ID. Eric merely smiled and slipped him a hundred.
