Liir peeked in during his lunch hour and smiled to see Hurley at the counter.

"Hello," he said with a nod of his head, "I don't suppose I could get a small, simple bouquet for a little later this afternoon, could I?"

"Of course, dude," Hurley said. "What sort of boquet?"

"I was thinking something, well, in purple? (http://www.ccfc.org/images/managed/09-purple_pas-1209678340.jpg)" he admitted with a brief flush of red on his cheeks. He was still a bit wary about all this, but one didn't live by avoiding life and he'd done quite enough of that already.

"She likes purple, anyway."

He breathed out.

"How was your holiday, yesterday?"

"Purple, got it," Hurley said. "My holiday was pretty good, actually."

He searched the flowers for the right stuff. "Can I ask who it's for?"

He nodded.

"Amber," he told Hurley as he took up a spot near the wall, slouching shamelessly as he was in a good mood.

"And I'm glad you had a good one. A good meal at least; I read quite a lot about the meal being the point or something."

"Dude, I was so stuffed yesterday," Hurley said with a laugh. "It was great."

He found a suitable moddable boquet.

"This work for ya, dude?"

"That's good then."

He nodded at the bouquet.

"Perfect, really," he said as he looked at it, thinking that it fitted Amber rather well really.

"Cool," Hurley said. "It should work just fine." He took the boquet back to the counter and rung it up.

"Got a date or something?"

Another blush, and this one with a duck of his head.

"Yes. We sort of-- yes. A date date sort of, um, I hope so."

Hurley grinned. "Nice work, dude," he said. "It's handwavey amount for the boquet."

"I believe I should say that to you," he said as he handed over the handwavey amount.

"To me?" Hurley said. "Why?"

He liked his jobs so much, he sorta didn't think of them as work.
