A week and a day, and Agent Sarah Walker would be back on duty. She wasn't counting the hours.
Exactly.
A lot could happen, anyhow, in a week, and Sarah knew that. So, trying to put what she hoped would happen in a week out of her head, today she was sitting at the front desk and calmly, methodically, and very, very neatly organizing all of the comic invoices for the first quarter thus far. It never hurt to be caught up on the paperwork.
