No matter how often she brushed her teeth this morning, Claire's mouth tasted like "oregano"-brownie flavored wads of cotton. She was still mentally complaining about that as she opened the store and set up for her shift.
Not that brownie night wasn't worth a little next-day pain. She'd miss Francine.
Two finals down, two to go, and neither of the ones she had left seemed like the kind of thing she could study for. She sat down behind the counter and rested her hear on her arms. Just a little rest...
