Android's Dungeon, Tuesday

Tim was a bit late opening the store today, but since he was the boss, he forgave himself.

He settled down with a trade paperback of the Death of The American Hero. How long had that lasted? A month?

Welcome to the Android's Dungeon.

Castiel wandered into the store on total slowplay, apparently and looked around. "And what is the purpose of this establishment?"

"Thank you, but I am merely exploring. RPG?"

"Cleanly role playing." Castiel nodded as though he understood. "Do you mind if I look around?"

"I am Castiel." He inclined his head and set about wandering the shop.

[ooc: down with what we talked about Cass finding at the store?]

Castiel scanned the shelves disinterestedly, pausing to peer closer at a few of the posters before moving on. Simple fantasy fulfillment, it seemed.

Then he froze. There, amidst the garish superheros and the stylized noir detectives, was something familiar.

He snatched it off the shelf and hurried back to the counter, holding it up.

It was Route 666, one of the earlier books in Chuck's Supernatural series.

"Do you have any more of these?" he asked, his voice heavy with utmost importance.

Castiel's eyes widened. Here he'd been so careful to keep Sam and Dean's destiny from them, and the very books that described it were for sale right here in town.

"I'm going to need every copy that you have."

He was certain that this was not a waste of church funds. It was possible that the very fabric of existence depended on him buying them, after all.

It had nothing to do with his desire to reread certain key emotional moments.

"This is very important," Castiel said. Importantly. He was cool like that. "I need them now."

"You could say that, yes." He looked the book in his hands over. "These are out of print?"

Just to be sure it wouldn't be easy to restock the shelves.

Castiel nodded. "Good. If you get any more of these in, let me know. I'll purchase them as well."

"You have free will," Castiel pointed out.

Castiel sighed. "Are we playing twenty questions?"

"It is far more likely that I would simply say 'no comment' twenty times."
