The Boards - CASTING and CREW - 9/17

One last day... and then he had to make his decisions this weekend.

Good luck with that.

Hopefully, there'd be some interesting characters. Or maybe not hopefully. Actually, considering this place, probably.

CASTING and CREW TRYOUTS for
A Midnight Summer's Dream
No experience necessary! Free food and drink at rehearsals!

This should be interesting.

[ocd up!][FAQ for the plays here, some other bits and bobs, and feel free to ask questions in the OOC. Today's the last day! I expect (and will probably have a bit of) slowtime!]

Here for the muffins. He's already munching on his second one.

It'd taken him some time to decide, but eventually, Ender had showed back up at the theatre with a sheet of paper in his hands, glancing around.

No idea at all! Nope! Maybe he's coming down with something?

"How do they look?" Sophie asked, sitting down in the seat behind him, and leaning her arms on the one in front of her.

"Hello, Geoffrey." With an extra smile. Possibly someone watching might pick up on something warmer than usual there, but nothing too overt.

"Is it always like this?" she asked. "I confess I thought it was just the Scottish Play last time."

"Mmm, no," Sophie said, thinking of her students. "Or they go home fairly early, after the first alligator is spotted. Never mind continuing to act." Out of curiosity, she asked, "What's the worst invasion you've endured?"

"Hades," Sophie echoed, then paused. Re-evaluated. "The Hades." She studied him and then said, "I see. Or, well. I think I do."

"I'm sorry." Sophie couldn't imagine how terrible that must have been. It was fairly obvious that Geoffrey was one of those 'some of us' in question. How did he manage even as much sanity as he had, some days? "How did you escape?"

Right. Well, she owed some unnamed someone a debt, then.

"Why the vice principal?" Sophie frowned. "Was he in collusion?"

Having decided that working on a theatrical "crew" wouldn't likely require miracles, Castiel returned to the theater and made his way over to Tony.

"You would be the 'stage manager', correct?"

"Ah." Sophie had met Aphrodite, and an angel, and this was still throwing her a bit. Give her a moment.

"... the principal seems quite sane. And professional," she finally said. She badly wanted to ask Geoffrey what his hell had been; equally badly did not want to know. She could make her guesses. No Shakespeare, more madness. Specifics were irrelevant. "Unlike the current vice principal, but that is his job, I think. To provide contrast."
