Covent Garden Flowers, Wednesday, 10/28

Dinah was fixing up the last of the pumpkin-and-leaf displays, the Halloween decorations, and the autumn flowers, just being quiet today. Oh, and looking up different types of compost and fertilizer to send to Reno in Midgar. Why hadn't she thought of that earlier?

Leda had a sudden inspiration and came down to the flower shop to put it into action.

"Hey Dinah."

"I had the idea of getting some flowers for Karla. Any recommendations for a, 'just because' thing?"

She hadn't. Leda just knew something really bad had happened that Karla wouldn't tell her about. "That sounds good." Leda nodded. "And yes to the vase. Nothing too fancy there I guess."

"They're going really well." Leda smiled. "I even had some friends come visit on parents weekend. And I went to that resort in New York over break."

"Perfect." Leda pronounced. "Thanks, Hank."

Yay! She loved it when people rhymed back at her. It was so much better than those who just didn't get it and objected.

After arranging to have the flowers delivered, she turned to leave. "Oh, I almost forgot. I'm thinking of inviting people to come see Bordertown. Would you be interested?"

"I'll be in touch." Leda nodded.
