With no classes this week, Lion-o had wondered if he should just head back to his home planet a little earlier than planned. But he was so glad he stayed when he found out what was on special today.

"Fruitcake! Snarf, you have to try this stuff. It's delicious!" said Lion-o. He immediately got himself a slice from the cheese grater, but after taking a bite, he frowned. "I must have gotten a bad one. This is really dry compared to the last fruitcake I had."

And that's why Snarf and Lion-o spent the entire day taking a bite from every slice of fruitcake available, looking for the one fruitcake that tasted relatively good.

"Eeek!" Momoko closed the door quickly behind her, a wave of fruitcakes going splat against it as she did so. She was breathing hard, from all the running and dodging of attacking fruitcakes. After she caught her breath, she waved and wandered over to her friend. "Hi Lion-o! So, your specials sign...? Was it you guys that made all the crazy cakes? I can't believe I'm saying this about cake, but I don't want to eat it and it won't leave me alone!"

"They already had all these fruitcakes when Snarf and I got here," said Lion-o, wincing and patting his stomach. "But they aren't as good as the fruitcake we had a couple weeks ago, though."

"I know! I just had one taste when I first woke up but it was totally nasty and then it started following me and hitting me and wanting me to eat it." She shuddered. "I understand why it's upset and stuff, but ew!"

"I liked the day we had all those cookies," said Lion-o. "They were a lot more well-behaved than these fruitcakes."

"True! And they were totally delicious!" Momoko grinned and nodded. "And the tiny snow angels were so cute! Although they melted when you hugged them. But it could be worse! Remember last year when we had the garland that came to life?" She took a seat.

"So, are you going home again for the holiday, too?"

"Snarf didn't like the snow angels too much. He got fed up of having to mop up after them," said Lion-o. "It's not really a holiday at home, but I really shouldn't pass up the opportunity to go and help out at home. I'm planning on leaving Thursday."

"Poor Mr Snarf!" That probably could have sounded more sincere without the giggling. "At least you'll be with your family, even if it's not a holiday. I'm leaving late Wednesday night, so I'll have to send your Christmas present to you! Oh! How is everyone back home?"

"They all say that they're just fine, but I'll believe it once I see everything for myself," said Lion-o. "Apparently the Cat's Lair is habitable, even if it isn't completely finished."

"Ahh! That's great! I wish I could see it! You totally have to take pictures or something! Of the teddy bears and your family, too! I never did get to meet them." She was completely set on visiting him at home one of these days, whether he knew it or not.

"You need to come visit when the Cat's Lair is finished," said Lion-o. "It will look so neat once everything is done."

"Really? Really really?!" Momoko fairly bounced with glee. She wouldn't have to show up unannounced! "Yay! I can't wait! You've told me so much, I can't wait to meet everyone and see your new planet and everything! Pinky swear?" She held out her hand, extending her little finger towards him.

"Pinky swear," said Lion-o, holding his hand out. "It'll be fun! We can check out all the cool places that I haven't had a chance to explore yet."

"Totally! I love exploring! I'll even fly us! I need more practice carrying people!" Momoko linked their pinky fingers to complete the oath. "Hey, have you learned anything more about your sword? I keep forgetting to ask."
