'Dite's Decadent Delights, Wednesday afternoon
The fruitcake had been interesting. Slightly more annoying than the tinsel rain, but not as fun as the multi-colored snow. At least it appeared Raven had been able to keep Hercules from eating too much of it. Either that or the cakes that demanded to be eaten had found him to be a pushover and left him alone; Aphrodite wasn't sure which was closer to the truth.
So far today had been free of any Fandom type surprises, as long as she didn't count theNPC guy that insisted he had to have 48 bullet vibrators with wireless remote control before Christmas. He'd said he was making a very special present for someone. She'd raised an eyebrow and put in an emergency order for the guy.
Speaking of presents, what was that currently being knocked about in Hercules's agile paws?
"Herc, stop that!" Small, wrapped in silver, with a tiny red bow. Curious she started to unwrap it, then stopped to rescue another one from the cat, this one in blue with a silver ribbon. "Where are you getting these?"
Hercules looked up at a display and 'Dite followed his gaze. To her surprise she saw more tiny presents, on several shelves.
That was different. With a smile she finished opening the first one and laughed at the chocolate bar she found. The second one was similar. The third only slightly different.
"Well," she said as took a bite of chocolate, "this puts a whole new spin on Merry X-mas."
(ooc: Post and store open. Links are very NWS. Hope everyone's having a good holiday season.)
