Sam had gotten settled in the lounge, snickering as he poked one of the balloons with the head of his beer bottle.
No, he wasn't drunk yet. He was just naturally dorky on the rare occasions he had reasons to be in a very good mood. Sam didn't always like to openly celebrate his birthdays, but 18th birthdays were very important. He could get a tattoo now (or, another one at least), he could vote (which he was very excited about, the dork), and he could get married (in a few states at least, not that he was keeping track of that or anything).
He knew Peter would be around to help him celebrate, and he was sure that Dean would come, no matter how angry he was from finding out about Sam's extra abilities. Until anyone else arrived, Sam was content to slowly start drinking and play with the streamers.
