After waking up on Saturday with cotton mouth, a severe case of the munchies and an insane amount of embarrassment, Ashley had spent the rest of the weekend hiding out in her apartment.

This morning she was at work and taking advantage of the punching bag.

Price wasn't exactly looking forward to this. He was a bit embarassed himself. But nothing a bit of British stoicism couldn't fix.

"So, how much of that farm story was true?" he asked, instead of saying hello.

"Not even a little," Ashley admitted. "Couldn't be further from the truth, actually."

"Good to know I wasn't the only one completely out of what little I have left of my mind, at least," Price said. "I, uhh, well I suppose an apology is in order."

"Likewise," Ash said. "That was definitely not me. I have no idea what the hell happened to make me act like that."

"Neither do I," Price said. "If anything, it would have been good for a laugh. But, uhh."

He paused, feeling much less the grizzled veteran and a lot more the idiot schoolchild. "Sorry about being all... hippie dippie at you."

Ashley nodded. "Likewise. And, uh, I'm really good with just pretending Friday never happened, to be honest."

Because she didn't want that whole making out thing to make things awkward between them.

"Right," Price said, agreeing to move beyond that. However, he was definitely going to remember that. Because in his opinion, well, while oddly motivated it was a pretty good experience. Altered state of awareness aside, of course.

"Seems fair enough." He extended a hand. "I'm a firm believer of shaking on things."

It was definitely not a terrible experience, in Ashley's opinion. It was, however, an awkward experience given their age difference.

She shook his hand though. "So we're good?"

"We're good," Price said. He then laughed. "Is it bad that I think we should hit the range together? Get all the peacenik out of our system?"

"I think that sounds like a great idea," Ash agreed with a smile. "When is good for you?"

"Thursday sound all right to you?" Price asked, thinking that sounded a good day to him. He wanted it to be casual, after all, and making a meeting for too soon might come off wrong.

Ash nodded. "That sounds good, yeah. Want to just meet over there?"

"Sound like a good idea," Price said.

"So, guess I'll leave you to the bag, then."

"Thanks, Captain," Ash said, giving him a smile. "I'll see you then."
