The Arms Hotel Lobby, Tuesday
Sometime this morning, Mary had changed back from bird form to human form. Unfortunately, she found her human form to be without any clothing and without the room key she normally kept in her pocket.
Fortunately, she was near a storage closet. She was able to wrap an extra large bath sheet around herself before heading down to the front desk to get a new room key. That's where her luck ran out again. There was a long line of guests waiting to check out with Gunther nowhere in sight.
And that's the story of how Mary ended up working a full shift wearing only a towel.
